Rando music poll again!!!
this time it's on skyward sword dungeon music :3 -best one?
skyview temple (all variations)
earth temple
ancient mining facility (both past and present)
sand ship exterior (both past and present)
sand ship interior (both past and present)
ancient cistern (top version)
ancient cistern (underground version)
fire sanctuary
sky keep
only past versions for the lanayru dungeons
only present versions for the lanayru dungeons
I would've separated each version if it allowed more than twelve options :')
My personal fave is a tie between the earth temple and the fire sanctuary. They're both just. Like. I'd gladly play this in my class (they'd probably hate it cuz they have no music taste >:P)
My least favorite is Sky Keep. Maybe I don't listen to it often enough to get a liking for it, but like. Compared to the others? The only one that's kinda on the same level of "kinda mid" is skyview. But. Skyview Temple's theme actually fits the vibes of the temple y'know? Sky keep is kinda just. There. Idk. Ignore me.
god stone tower temple goes so hard. every day i think about it and yearn for another dungeon like it.......... like the divine beasts were directionally similar with the rotation mechanics but nothing near the level of stone tower temple in either complexity or the level of radical change that reorienting the dungeon causes. and also its vibes are absolutely phenomenal and immaculate. stone tower temple is one of the best zelda dungeons in my opinion and it is my heart's deepest desire for more dungeons like it. nintendo please bring back real zelda dungeons so we can get something like stone tower temple again. please nintendo,,,,,,,,,,
playing twilight princess and the temple of time + dominion rod is SO FUN! is this a hot take? i never hear anyone talk about it but this has to be one of my fav dungeons
It's not a 3D game but I did play it...
Favorite Echoes of Wisdom dungeon?
Suthorn Ruins
Jabul Ruins
Gerudo Sanctum
Hyrule Castle
Eldin Temple
Faron Temple
Lanayru Temple
Null's Body
Eastern Temple
Wrecked Ship
Hidden Ruins
Summit Cave
Our winner
Now that’s what I call game of the year material.
Also, it looks like there’s actual dungeons in the sky?!? Zelda girlies, we’re winning
ALSO also can’t wait to fight Ganondork with the extra long pitchfork
A lot of people are worried that Tears Of The Kingdom might not have classic Zelda dungeons. I don’t believe it will, instead I think me might get "open world" dungeons similar to Hyrule Castle in BotW. Since ALttP the Zelda team tried to create dungeons that incorporate the outdoor area (Skyward Sword) or have multiple entrances. Even the Devine Beasts felt like they were meant to be part of the world instead of being hidden behind a loading screen. And what’s also interesting are the boss battles (?) we saw in the latest trailer. They seem to take place OUTSIDE. I strongly believe TotK will be what Skyward Sword tried to be with its dungeon design.
Vah Naboris just has this atmosphere I can't describe... I wonder if it's design was inspired by the elephants in Temptation of Saint Anthony by any chance
