Final Fantasy XII Week - Day 2: Esper
It took a while but I FINALLY beaten Final Fantasy IV on GBA & yeah this game might be my favorite in the series so far besides II & X, it basically became the game I wanted the first Final Fantasy to be, Cecil is a more characterized Warrior of Light, Golbez is Garland with a ton of depth by comparison making him among my favorite villians in the series besides The Emperor especially when Golbez was one of the OG tragic villians making him a precursor to some of the best Xenoblade villians, heck even the Elemental Lords were more characterized compared to the Elemental Fiends of FF1 that was just goons we had to fight but yeah I love the cast as well, Rosa, Kain, Yang, Cid, Edge, Rydia, Edward especially with his story the one thing I wasn't spoiled on caught me off guard alongside Edge's parents becoming monsters & quite possibly my favorite characters in the series for me, the twins especially when they helped me during the late game & gotta be honest with Zemus, I actually like him because it explains so much of why Golbez hesitated in killing Cecil as that was his one moment of remembering his past self, so I wouldn't call him a complete out of nowhere final boss like Cloud of Darkness, I also appreciate the side stories such as Dr. Lugae of his hidden goal of wanting to overthrow Golbez but yeah FFIV easily some of my favorites in the series so far but now it's time I journey into Final Fantasy V!

do you think that all Lunarians could have the potential to transform into a "final" or "true" form under the right circumstances or that it's a Zemus/Zeromus exclusive situation?
All Lunarians can transform at will and have partial or full control of what

All Lunarians can transform and the result is different depending on personality
Lunarians can only transform if a part of them is separated from themselves
Lunarians can only transform with the assistance of strong magic
Zemus/Zeromus are the only one who can do that due to magic
Z/Z are the only one who can do that due to being that hateful (curse-like?)
Lunarians do not have physical bodies, are projections of some kind, etc.

It feels so surreal but so good to have completed FFIV. It's definitely a top 5 Final Fantasy with a great cast, difficulty and quests to do. That's 7 main games (excluding X-2, VII Remake and Rebirth which are also completed) under my belt, I'm so proud of myself .
