So forgive me if you've answered this before and I've missed it, but can Katsuki's quirk be ignited by anything, or just him? Based on what I've seen in the anime do far, it doesn't seem like Shoto's or Dabi's flames, or Kaminari's sparks ignite his nytroglicerin, even though they would in real life. I was just wondering because if his nitroglycerin COULD be ignited by external sources, that's a pretty potential danger in hero work, I feel.
I feel like that has more to do with Katsuki keeping his hands clean of sweat and him using his sweat constantly in combat situations.
Since Katsuki can collect his sweat into his grenades/bracers, and those use an outside/non Katsuki form of ignition (which we know b/c other people can use them too), we know for a fact that his sweat can be ignited by other heat sources.
So, yes, it is dangerous. Katsuki is constantly dealing with a highly dangerous substance dripping off his hands, but the show/characters often likes to ignore that, which is part of why it’s something I feature in my fics a lot.
