How Xiao Xingchen kabedon his way into Song lan’s heart

So earlier I saw a post, I don't remember from whom it was, but was basically like if Xiao Xingchen after losing his eyes went to meet Wei Wuxian. It ended up staying in my head as the utmost fix it au.

It would be canon deviant, since it would fix wwx first life and I'm messing a bit with the timing of the events. They would follow like this:

Yueyang Chang sect massacre happens some time after the first Qiongqi Path incident. It is only not blamed on wwx cause Xiao Xingchen investigates it so well, that there's no way people can blame it on him other than the occasional, "oh, but if he didn't invent such method in the first place." And that's it.

This leads to Wei Wuxian cutting ties with the Yunmeng Jiang sect. He is still recovering from his wounds after fighting Jiang Cheng when Xue Yang was freed from prison and committed the Baixue temple massacre.

So sometime after recovering WWX discover that there's two people trying to go up the Burial mounds and goes down to check who it is. Then he finally meets Xiao Xingchen and A-Qing.

Xiao Xingchen decided to go to the burial mounds because he just wanted to understand why every person that is somewhat linked to Baoshan Sanren ends up suffering or on a twisted path, and maybe bring him to the rightful path again, as his "uncle". He meet A-Qing in the way and they traveled together to Yiling, and didn't meet Xue Yang since they didn't pass by the Yi city road.

So they start living together and everything is fine. WWX opens up to Xingchen, and he knows all about the situation and there's a lot of slice of life dynamics.

Hanguang-jun visits and when it's time to go away Xingchen acts like Mulan's grandma and insist for him to stay for dinner and to come visit often since Wei Ying missed him a lot, but can't go to gusu. (WWX is almost embarrassed to death.)

And basically almost everything would work itself out after that? with a lot of slow burn romance between lwj and wwx? A-Yuan would finally have another big sis to play with too.

“Xiao Xingchen was lying in his bedroom scrolling thru his blogs, fencing practices had consumed almost all his energy and his whole body felt numb. Although he was feeling exhausted, he loved the feeling of his aching muscles after a long practice session, and he loved even more the company of whom he parctice with.

His mind went momentarily on a moment earlier today where Zichen had managed to block one of his movements, and due to inertia he ended up pressed against the floor by the other, causing all his blood to come rushing to his face. At the time Xingchen really appreciated the protection of the helmet, that allowed to hide the heavy blush generated by the contact.

He sighed heavily for the frustration provoked by the situation, if he continued like this, his feeling will be exposed, and he didn’t want to risk losing the most important person in his life.

He lead his attention back to the blog, to distract his mind from not so innocent thoughts about his best friend, when his gaze unconsciously landed on a post. A laugh burst from his throat as he read the words that were presented to him on the screen of his cell phone. "Is this a joke?" he thought. The bizarre situacion caused him to not consider the consequences of his actions, by posting a screenshot to his twitter account.”

*Sword appreciation*

I mean, in the show we don’t really have ocassion to have a good look on  Ouyang Zizhen sword.

I really wanted to know how it look and found photos from behind the scenes.

So I post it here for everyone curious about close up of this sword.

An I just love so much  Ouyang Zizhen (because of this role I became big fangirl of Cao Junxiang :D), it is so sad there was no more scenes with him in the show :D
