He remembers the first set she ever gave him. It was a flower that came with its own little vase. A Gift she had called it; a little housewarming present to commemorate the occasion and also to allow him something to decorate his nearly barren room with, when he and the boys had officially started to settle into the Huntrix's Penthouse on a much more permanent basis. He didn’t touch it for weeks. He didn't even truly look at it when she first handed it to him that random afternoon. In fact, when she had ultimately stopped seeing the box, which was collecting dust in the lonely back of the recording booth in a private little section he had designated as his own little spot of territory, she had just simply assumed that he had finally just gotten rid of it somehow. Zoey of course, paid no mind to the notion of thought on if he did or if he did not. It was a gift after all, and what he ultimately did with it in the end was his own choice and Zoey was ok with that, even if it did sting a little. When she stopped seeing it, she thought for certain that that was the end of that. Until one day, when she caught him all by himself in the recording room some wee hours of the night, fiddling around with all the little pieces she long thought gone for good; the box neatly tucked away under the couch that's seen better days, a mini construction booklet laid out between the multi-colored pieces on the table next to it. Him sitting there on the couch, actually putting it together in silence. Sometimes pieces would be finicky and she’d find it funny to watch when in the midst of concentration, his tongue would poke out just a lil between his lips at the corners of his mouth. She doesn't laugh too loudly about it though. She doesn’t bother him. She knows better than that. Instead she just watches him for sometime, quiet as a mouse. Observing as he fiddles around with the multi-colored blocks held precariously in his fingertips. Watching as he presses them together, or yanks them apart. Soon finding some solace in the miniature sounds of small plastic parts ticking and clicking together, snapping and clacking. She stays there long enough to at least witness the set be near complete, and by that time she just leaves him be. That itself becomes a routine, until a few months and a couple of sets and hundreds and thousands of pieces put together and built solely by himself, when he suddenly asks her if she wants to build one of the newest set's she's brought him, with him. Which she agrees too in no less than half a heart-beat. She never gives up on the opportunity. Especially when he finally lets his guard down just enough to even work up the nerve to ASK her if she wants to do things together with him. She loses track over how many they do together;  time set not to the ticking of whatever clock they now ignore, but instead to the familiar sounds of ticking and clicking and snapping and clacking, and soon enough, someway down the line, laughter in all its sweet silent forms. She watches set by set come to life. She watches him stare at them when their done, as if admiring them. And then she finds them in spots later on that day when they go their separate ways. Set down in places throughout the penthouse where they can admire their handy work whenever they want. And while both she and him sit together on the floor, putting together some hodge-podge formed by the multiple sets he's had the bright idea of merging together into some massive conglomerate of a scene, and she observes the previous masterpieces they have created, she finds as well that she also thanks the sets themselves. Because it’s usually because of them and the time spent together building them, where it oddly feel's natural after a while, for them to simply just sit in silence at times, not needing to fill the void with meaningless conversation but instead filling it with the enjoyment of having something to do together.

Documenting every physical interaction between the Saja Boys because I'm unwell about them

Abby leans an arm on Jinu’s shoulder whilst flexing. Baby also leans on Jinu, his arms crossed and face partially hidden, to add to that cuteness factor

They switch positions, but Abby doesn’t break contact with Jinu, fully draping his arm around him. Baby holds onto Jinu’s arm with both arms, cuddling it. Abby’s touch lingers on Jinu as they spin into their next positions

In their farewell, Baby leans on Mystery’s shoulder, while Abby leans on Romance's shoulder

During the game show, Baby places a hand on Romance's shoulder

PLAY GAMES WITH UUUUUSSS! Ahem, sorry. Mystery leans an arm on Romance. The boys' positioning will be repeated in the bathhouse scene later

Abby giving Baby a piggyback is so damn cute, and it's for literally no reason. Pretty much every other interaction between the boys seen thus far has been in front of fans and, therefore, potentially staged. What fan is going to see them running off set like that? You cannot convince me they're not goofy goobers

In the bathhouse, the boys are posed ready. Abby is once again leaning an arm on Jinu, while Mystery leans on Romance

When Jinu kneels down, Abby slides his arm off and poses similarly to how he did during the game show. Mystery remains leaning on Romance, but their positioning shifts slightly. I'm not counting this as a separate interaction, but I wanted to mention it nonetheless

During the idol award show, Abby has an arm wrapped around Baby's shoulders. Kinda thought Romance might have his hand on Jinu's shoulder, but I don't think he does

On an advertisement board, Baby leans on Jinu, while Abby has his arm wrapped around Mystery

During their fan club announcement, both Abby and Baby lean on Jinu. Baby also has his arm wrapped around Romance

Post Huntr/x breakup, while the boys are expressing false sympathy, Baby has a hand on Romance's shoulder. This action matches what was seen during the game show

Before the boys run off into battle, Abby places a hand on Jinu's shoulder, dragging it down his chest before taking off running

As Mystery runs to follow the others, he shoulder-checks Jinu. Hardly an affectionate act, but it counts as physical touch

I made a stats chart of who touches who, but I kinda don't want to make people look at maths if they just wanna look at the boys

Idea: Zoey often flirts with Mystery, but he doesn't respond to her advances. So she flirts with Baby to make him jealous, and then suddenly Mystery becomes very clingy towards her.

Baby enjoys the attention (although he won't say it), and he's glad to be a wingman of sorts, although he and Mystery soon start competing for her attention.

Sajatrix headcanons, go! (NSFW under the cut)

Romance and Jinu are the unofficial hairstylists of the group, and Ro desperately wants to do Rumi's hair, but Jinu won't let him. (possessive much?)

If you thought Mira was competitive before, just wait until she and Abby get in the gym together.

If Baby and Zoey want to blow off some steam, they'll either rap/roast battle or have a real battle. It's great stress relief.

Mira, Baby, and Sussie have an unofficial gossip group. They drink boba together and judge the fuck out of the other Saja Boys. And yes, they give Sussie a bird-spirit friendly boba.

Romance and Bobby are besties. And it's adorable.

The girls have introduced the boys to modern junk food. Abby had to wear a corset in public to hide the weight he gained for weeks.

Mystery has horrible fashion sense - if he was in charge of dressing himself, he'd wear crocs and cargo shorts every day. So Mira, the style queen she is, has taken it upon herself to make him presentable every day. ("I'm not letting him look like that next to Zoey.")

Demons don't really have birthdays, so the girls gave them all birthdays: February 14th for Ro (it was Zoey's idea), March 5th for Jinu, February 29th for Myst (again, Zoey's idea), June 4th for Abby, and September 17th for Baby. For Baby's first birthday, Zoey gave him a book on how to swear in 200+ languages, complete with a translation guide. He's never been happier.

Romance, bless his heart, tries to give Jinu dating advice to make Rumi swoon. It's all really shitty advice he got from dime-a-dozen romance novels.

It's pretty rare for all 8 of them to be in the mood at the same time, but when they are, it's a great time. Lots of claws and fangs.

Derpy is notorious for interrupting via portal whenever someone is getting it on and trying to cuddle with the entangled parties. It's led to many awkward conversations with Jinu. ("GET YOUR VOYEUR CAT UNDER CONTROL!" <- Baby, probably)

Somehow, in a group with five demons and one half-demon, Zoey is the freakiest of them all. Mystery is a happy man.

Yes, the boys all had a dick-measuring contest when they were drunk once. Abby's the biggest, with Baby as a close second. Jinu's third, Myst is fourth, and Ro is the smallest. (Don't worry, he's a bottom anyways.) (Mira bullies him for being the smallest. He likes it.)

Romance's shitty book advice has extended to Jinu and Rumi's bedroom life as well. Jinu should know better than to listen to him at this point.

One day I WILL write a Zoesterby story where Zoey and Baby are Soulmates and Mystery isn’t with either of them but Zoey and Baby are both individually and collectively like, “No. That’s our guy. He’s not going anywhere.” And despite societal pressures to only be with your Soulmate(s) and no one else, he’s now a part of the relationship and no one can take him away from them.
