Hey! So this is my first piece of glass I ever etched :D

I made it for my sister for her birthday. It is Avatar (atla) themed

Since she was the one to forcefully introduce me to the show, I wanted to make it special for her. I had this nice glass jar, so I kind of looked at it and thought, 'I bet I could etch that' this was a couple years ago now

I think it turned out great! I've kept working with glass and I'm very happy about it.

Four caught my eye from the beginning, and he was almost immediately my fave once I genuinely began thinking about it, for the reasons outlined here. As for my favorite LoZ Link, uhhhhhhhhhh... well, I've never played any of the games, so... 😅 Maybe Skword!Link? I watched a cutscene compilation and fell instantly in love, he's so cute. :((

The right-handed (Sky, Wild) Links are both actually ambidextrous/naturally left-handed, but grew up learning how to fight right-handed. So ta-da, all Links are actually left-handed to some extent. :D

10. 🔼How did you get into Linked Universe? At what point was the comic at the time?

lmao, funny story. @scarlettediscord was an old fandom friend of mine that I'd known since... gosh, 2010? 2011? Anyway, I'd lost contact with her about 8 years ago now, when out of the blue she showed back up on tumblr in July 2024 posting and reblogging stuff for this random LoZ fancomic I'd never heard of. There seemed to be a whole lot of good whump content out there, so I checked it out, and the rest, as they say, is history.

The latest update was Entrance iirc.

Fairy reveal for the ask game!

augh, I need to start writing this one again, I honestly got like, nothing. I planned for it to be a Fairy!Hyrule reveal(that’s the title!) and for Time and Wars to essentially freak out over it. Everyone is surprised but those two love fairies. Haven’t gotten to that point, so I’ll just share what I’ve got now.

Everyone has secrets, that much is obvious the every Link here. Sometimes, secrets don’t need to be shared, but sometimes they want to be shared.

Hyrule was deliberating over whether or not this secret wanted to be revealed or not. Hunched over on a log, chin propped up by his hands, his mouth a thin line, staring directly at the fire in front of him, he was thinking quite hard about this.

“You doing alright?” Wars asked him, leaning over into his field of view.

“Yeah, sure,” Hyrule mumbled back, continuing to stare unblinkingly into the flames.

“Seems like someone is speaking an untruth right about now,” Wild sneered.

“Champion, please just say lying, like a normal person would,” Wars sighed.

“Well I think saying untruth is a very normal person trying to do,” Wild retorted, “Right vet?”

“Well,” Legend crossed his arms behind his head and leaned back, “I would be saying an untruth right now if I said it wasn’t.”

Sigh. That one. People sigh too much in my head between things they say. I always need to methodically pick where to place them so I don't put it in every second paragraph.

I also describe what someone's eyes do too much. I have to cycle 'expression', 'facial features', and 'eyes' sooo much. I'm trying to get away from it, but it's so hard, man

36. What fanfic of yours has the symbolism you’re proudest of?

Iconoclasm! Without going too far in-depth, I'm very proud of the fact that Warriors is at first content letting others get rid of the reminder of his trauma while he watches, unable to use the same means they are, but then is handed those exact means by Legend at the end and basically-but-not-really forced into participating in his own healing, and realizes just how much it will actually help.

I'm a huge advocate for the first step of overcoming a problem to be confronting it. There are obviously nuances to every situation, but if you let others solve it for you, it will always be there, in the back of your mind, because you never truly moved on from it. It wasn't the biggest focal point of the fic, but it's definitely a point I made care to include.
