In my monster Au, 2d makes up a bunch of songs to cope with being a lone survivor during the apocalypse (some of these are gorillaz songs, but since gorillaz doesn’t exist here... ya know) this one is of him singing hip albatross

I like to imagine a scenario where a zombie apocalypse happens and 2D gets bitten by a zombie. Murdoc refuses to kill him but,and  even though they are reluctant, Noodle and Russel say he has to shoot 2D in the head before he becomes a zombie. And 2D keeps telling him 'shoot me I don't want to become a brainless body just shambling around.' But murdoc is like 'no ur my singer' so they go alone somewhere and have this heart to heart thing confessing their love for eachother. Then Murdoc kisses 2D, 2d starts turning and lets out a weak 'Murr- *zombie wheeze* -doocc." while reaching out for the bassist. Then murdoc shoots him and lays down sobbing. Then a bunch of other stuff happens. IM WRTING A FANFIC ABOUT THIS EVEN THOUGH THERE ARE MANY PLOTHOLES.
