this is ridiculous, you feel like a fish or better yet a hamster you can see Skully in the store above you watching you it feels mocking "come on you big bastard!, come down here and finish me off!" at this point your just hootering and hollaring with no real words coming out your just throwing rubble up at him none of them hit him and you can feel yourself teering up
you haven't been this emotional since the world ended and it's all for a zombie, some undead freak he betrayed you but was it really betrayal? how do you know he ever felt any loyalty to you, you swear you had some kind of bond but was that just the delusions of your lonelyness?
you can't look at him so you search thru the rubble of this store hopefully you can find a way out other then the back door as it's overrun with the dead your sure you'd die before you could clear it maybe theres a vent?
you search along the walls of the shop three times at least and you only finde one vent but it's crushed and full of rubble and even if it was clear theres no way you could squeeze thru it's so unfair zombie apoclypse and half starved you still haven't lost any weight you need another way out
you begin to pace the store in circles and notice something that skinnier zombie your not sure if you remember his name Johnny your pretty sure but that doesn't matter what does is he's following you when you pace around the store he paces back and forth infront of the windows it's strange and draws your attention in which ends up in you spotting the loose part of the door
curiously you walk up to him to which he smiles, you didn't know zombies could smile, you wish you still didn't know they could smile that will haunt your dreams but you need to focus you grab the loose part of the door and pull trying to make a big enough gap to squeeze thru but that makes Johnny scream as loud as he can luring Skully down who thumps his fist against the glass it's enough to scare your away a few steps
ok you can definately fit thru the door gap you just need them to stop guarding it you need a distraction but theres not much you can do from inside here

you've got an idea, a horrible idea, you won't even need to pry the door open according to your plan Skully will bust it right open, they need you alive, or want you alive your not sure, but you are about to play a very dangourus game of chicken
you approach the back door that leads to the staff hallway, the overrun with the man eating dead staff hallway yea that one, you can hear them throwing themselves at the door you can hear the groans it's terrifying but you need to do it, you reach out twisting the doorknob you don't get the chance to pull the door open the sheer weight of the bodies behind it forcing it open
you hear Johnny's distressed screech as you run towards the front of the store theres nothing else to do other then evade them and hope Skully actually care about your life as much as you think he does which thankfully he does or atleast thats what you assume hearing his terrible scream and the sound of glass shattering, you see him grab a zombies head and squeeze until their head pops and they go limp
Skully is a beast taking out zombie after zombie some he just picks up and throws those are the ones Johnny jumps on while their down and finishes off
a part of you is mesmerised and wants to continue watching them destroy the hoard but the other half knows this is your only chance for freedom and you need to take it you turn on your heel and run out
your not sure how you manage to be this out of shape despite constantly running as you can already hear yourself panting but you keep your run as quick as you can and you finally make it outside the mall you feel the warm sun on your skin but you have no time to soak it all in as you hear heavy thumping and loud screeches that can only be Skully pursuing you
you keep running until you can feel your feet bleeding inside your shoes you slow down to a walk as you make your way into an apartment building that empty all the zombies have made their way down to street level in search of food ages ago so your safe to go up to the sixth story where you close an apartment door behind you after making sure the place is empty
you climb onto the bed hugging your knees to your chest, you have no supplies and no plan but that can be figured out tomorrow right now you just bite your hand to contain the noises as you sob into the sheets it shouldn't hurt this much to not have Skully but it does
