Some dumb doodles I did recently while staying up way too late (more like too early - the sun was almost up smh) that spiraled off of real mega-stupid conversations. PIC ONE (top): @altamaranempire and I both have Gaia avatars of Malkul and Orwurm that we often use, and it’s common for us to put them in new outfits every once in awhile. At one point, she’d put a huge bow on Orwurm and I commented that it was a nice bow. She said it was an accent scarf and I replied with “YOU’RE AN ACCENT SCARF”, but she misheard it as “YOU’RE AN ACCENT” as in like ‘YOU’RE AN ACCESSORY TO ME”. Needless to say we had a really good laugh about that and quickly applied it to Malkul and Orwurm interacting and whelp there you go. FIGURE ONE: Malkul Dagoon is CONFUSED AND CONCERNED at Orwurm’s sudden upset.

PIC ONE (bottom): A Joke Occurred concerning Orwurm convincing Malkul to wear sexy underwear since there’s an ancient, unposted picture of him in sexy underwear that Jess made in the distant past. That conversation rolled into something about how ascended!Malkul - life god of a planet (Zonyatl) - would probably become less and less concerned about what people saw of him after a few centuries so... this happened.

PIC THREE: Orwurm Gets A Furby And It’s Actually Haunted For Real, so Malkul Buries It For Her Safety Without Telling Her.

Uh... I was just going to make these CSketches (aka just shading and dialogue), but somehow they turned into super weird BG practice. They have given me some ideas for plotting, though! That especially applies to the pic on the right; maybe Malkul should go on a dangerous mission to a nasty, ruined part of Nu-Badill to erase a destructive crime den or something. Left: Malkul’s in the woods at dawn and heard a Scary Noise TM. Right: Malkul is most likely about to kill some jerks after they injured somebody he cares about. (Note: Zalcoa blood is blue, so who that individual is is up to interpretation!)

Some Malkuls! I feel like I haven’t given him enough attention in terms of doodling lately. I’ve been drawing him for YEARS, but somehow his face shape still screws me up on some days. Top Left: Probably being friendly to a cute kid or something. They’ve gotta’ be a lot shorter than him considering the way he’s looking down. Top Right: Telling somebody off (likely Orwurm) for going overboard or crossing a line. Maybe they did some murdering that he doesn’t approve of. Bottom Left: Reporting to somebody that he was not able to find a friend/partner/family member of theirs that he was trying to help them locate.  Bottom Right: Malkul in a defensive pose, getting ready to fight if necessary. Might have quickly moved out of the way of DANGER.

Chelles' Day: Follow-up Chat Snippets for some Context

SOME CONTEXT FOR CHELLES' DAY. . .

[5:49:22 PM] CosmicSynthetics: he was exposed to a bullshit 4th dimensional fire when he was a kid

[5:49:49 PM] CosmicSynthetics: everybody thought he just had PTSD and maybe some other neurosis when he had panic attacks and shit

[5:50:19 PM] CosmicSynthetics: but he was actually seeing flashes of dangerous events in different timelines in his daily life instead

[5:51:02 PM] CosmicSynthetics: As he got older his abilities expanded from just seeing Bad Shit to giving him insight into near-future events that were likely to happen that he could either choose to work towards or try to avoid

[5:51:47 PM] CosmicSynthetics: He turned to spirituality and crystals and crap to help him control this shit, and since that's how he learned to cope, that's what his abilities respond to

You know that thing where you honestly just intend to make sketches, but in not caring all that much about what you’re making, you make something seven times more complex/finished?? Yeah, that’s what happened with this. Oh well? At least the results are fairly nice! Here, have some more Chelles. Looks like I’m pretty much OBLIGATED to bring his character back now considering how much fun he’s been to draw.

I need to draw more Elpidas. I should do another sheet full of her later! Left: Deciding that yes, the thing somebody is showing her is actually fairly cute, even if she didn’t think so at first. Right: Tellin’ it like it is to somebody who deserves a slap.

Every living (except for Damine possibly) example of the bloodlines involved in a dubious series of experiments called the NEO Wildtype Project, otherwise known as NEOWP. Though no longer in operation, the program was based on zalcoa!Malkul’s old planet before it was destroyed during a cosmic catastrophe. Some information on NEOWP can be found here. More information will be added in future. Nowadays, any surviving former subjects are no longer bound by NEOWP’s constraints on their personal freedoms. They’ve since moved on to new homes, new jobs, and a good amount of them have children of their own. Left: Vooika Prima (Prima Line) - Born from an altered germ cell from the Prima line’s progenitor after NEOWP had already ended. Rules under her partner Vizkar Rusvau (owned by @altamaranempire) on a colony planet. Center: Kaus'tans Zavloan (Demi Line) - The last living “purebred” example of the Demi line. Also Malkul’s dam (mothering parent in zalcoa terms). He now lives in relative peace and quiet with his non-NEOWP partner Fern, staying out of military bullshit trouble whenever possible. He’s done with that. Right: Damine (Sanguine Line) - The first of the Sanguine line. Even though her genetics were cataloged and stored for future use right away, she eventually escaped. Nobody’s seen her since. There are no confirmed reports of her genome being recovered. (Damine Sanguine belongs to @fireequinox​!
