As for “my take”… ah, it’s such a difficult question!! (Yapping incoming)

You know how Liam could be either a very macho lad or a stylish diva? I think that, in a genderbend version, he could also pull off that same wide range of gender expression! Whether Lyla (?) goes for a more feminine or more masculine look, she’d be the center of attention and wouldn’t care about stepping outside the norm. I also like to imagine her with a somewhat scrawny build and a small chest

As for Noel… it’s complicated! At first I thought, “Wow, he looked like a cool butch in the 2000s, so that should be his genderbend” but when I think about his personality and the things he’s said, it doesn’t really fit… He’s expressed many times that he envies women’s fashion, hair, and shoes, and he loves bragging about how small he is …😭 But he’s still more reserved than Liam and seems to struggle with some body image issues, so I think Noelle would kind of fantasize about wearing more extravagant looks like Lyla, but never quite have the confidence to do so, ending up wearing baggy clothes instead…
