Dragons, Art, and Stories (maybe)

Hi, I'm Dragon! Am I a literal dragon? You will never know (or will you?). I don't know how this blog 'thing' is supposed to work, so I'm just gonna post random things with minimal context. I might also post pictures of my (or my family's) pets. I'm also open to talking about any of my interests. What are they? Too many to list here, but I will say Spider-Man and Ninjago.

You know what? I can't prove it but I know that Bruce kisses the injuries of the kids. And the first time it happened, he didn't even realise what he was doing, they were in the kitchen cooking and all he heard was a splash of hot water and his wail and suddenly, he had Dick's hand against his lips in an effort to calm him down while Alfred got the ice. After that Bruce always did it and never stopped, he just to used to it instinctively and the kids were comforted by seeing how soft he is and now every time the Bats get a scratch or a bruise, they will hold it up for Bruce to kiss and Bruce just looks puzzled when anybody brings it up.

I wish more people got this because some ‘low-empathy’ people are the most compassionate and sympathetic in the universe, and I hate it when that’s taken to mean ‘unfeeling and probably hostile’ when nothing could be further from the truth

I know it never happened but I don't care. I want the rogues to have been slightly bemused at the concept of a Robin, so when they kidnap them or interact them they are a little playful with them or at very least, remember they're kids and act accordingly.

Like Two Face asking what the terms and conditions they agreed to in their contract with Batman. Do they get breaks? Are they entitled to benefits? And Harvey is trying not to laugh when Robin rattles off contract law to a bewildered Batman and demands extra dessert privileges in recompense.

The Riddler patiently repeating riddles or making them kid friendly, always looking so proud when they crack a riddle before getting annoyed because the fun is over? But Batman, look how clever this kid is? Are you watching?

Harley who capers and jokes around for the amusement of Robin, mainly because Joker is doing something that no kid should see and despite everything, she's doing her best to distract them from something that will scar them deeply and that's not funny, even if Mister J says it is.

But eventually the shift happens and rogues no longer care that it's a kid in the cape or they're too jaded to pretend any of this is a game any more. But there was a time.

Zero thoughts but Lois teasing Clark about any rumours about him and Bruce, knowing full well that they're just friends and co workers. But not everyone finds it funny.

Lois: You've been spending an awful lot of time with Bruce Wayne, Smallville. Do we need to hide anything from Cat?

Clark: It's nothing. He's just a friend.

Jimmy: *perking up*

Lois: How many times have you seen each other this month?

Clark: *mumbling*

Lois: Didn't catch that, what was that?

Clark: Fifteen. It's nothing! He's a friend. A really good friend, one of my best.

Jimmy: *scowling*

Lois: Sure, sure. Where are you off to now?

Clark: Gotham. I gotta, um, interview... Bruce. It's about the thing with LexCorp.

Lois: Uh-huh.

Clark: Um, Jimmy? What are you-?

Jimmy, spraying his cologne all over Clark: Don't worry about it.

Bruce: It's important to update your suit as you learn. I made the cowl into a crash helmet after my fall. The spine has extra support after Bane broke my back. These kneepads after I skidded and sliced my knees open.

Tim: So at the start, it was really just luck, a cape, a thong between you and a coffin at the beginning?

Bruce: Yup.

what is it about capybaras that attracts groups of small animals to them? Its not just mammals either its like birds and turtles and frogs too

This is actually a cool thing I know about!

In the wild capybaras live in large groups so naturally a female capybara will take care of not only her own offspring, but all of the other offspring in the group. So capybaras are super great mothers who will adopt pretty much anything and take care of it.

Lots of places that rescue different animals will give a group of baby animals to a capybara to raise if they have one.

Like puppies

Deer

Emus

They are just super calm animals so they’re naturally great at mothering or just existing in a group!

Sure, superhearing is cool

UNTIL you're autistic with sensory issues and have to listen to people's heartbeats, breathing, chewing, and even their conversations from blocks away.

Which is why Matt wanted to get Victor some sound-canceling headphones. It can't mute everything, but it sure does help.

PS: here's the room without him in it. Note how Matt's bed is a complete mess while Victor's is (mostly) nicely made lol. You can tell so much about a person from how they live!
