Another set of great pullout cabinetry accessories.  Shown are pullout adjustable shelving units in a tall cabinet (left), and a base cabinet (right).  The pullout pantry (left) is great for dry or canned food storage, and the base pullout (right) is great for pot and pan storage, plates and bowls, or tupperware.

Inset cabinetry in a local builder's showcase remodeled home.  Kitchen includes rustic cherry cabinetry with painted black accents on the moldings.  Completely built-in appliances (refrigerator on the right of top picture, dishwasher drawers to the left of the sink base).  There is a double pullout trash to the right of the sink, a pantry cabinet on the far left of the sink wall, a banquette area surrounding the dining area, and  decorative glass doors on the range wall.

Lots of great details in this warm kitchen.  Enkeboll brand corbels support the countertop overhang and grape butt molding surrounds the sheetrock hood.  This is a great alternative to the popular large mantle style hoods.

Rich dark stained Cherry cabinetry with a raised peninsula, unique storage and display areas, arched wainscot valanced above the windows, cabinets up to the ceiling with smaller storage above.  This kitchen really shows off what attention to detail can accomplish in a kitchen remodel.

Then & Now: Consumer Outreach

                                                 “Happiness is a New Kitchen,” the NKBA promised consumers in its first national kitchen promotion, during Columbus Day weekend in 1968, which included an ad in House Beautiful magazine. Cost of participation: $27.50 for streamers, counter cards, ad mats and radio scripts. The NKBA said that its new promotional radio spots were produced with a “voice of unusual appeal” and “something different from the usual humdrum, yak yak.”

2013 Parade of Homes - Tallahassee, Florida

We are getting ready to be a part of this year's upcoming Parade of Homes. Smithport cabinetry will be featured in an Ertl Construction home at 3716 Phipps Point (Lake Hall). Unfortunately, the home was not ready in time for the judging day, so it is not up for any awards.  Attached is some information from the Tallahassee Builders Association about the event.

The Tallahassee Builders Association has announced the addresses of the 29 homes featured in its 2013 Parade of Homes™. The homes will be open on May 11-12 and May 18-19. The Saturday show hours are 10 am to 6 pm. The Sunday show hours are Noon to 6 pm. Parade guides will be available at the eleven Publix stores in Tallahassee. There is no charge to visit the homes but a voluntary donation to the Second Harvest’s “Harvest for Hunger” program is encouraged.

Contemporary Maple slab door cabinetry with Granite countertops and  Miele appliances.  The built-in refrigerator to the left of the double ovens is completely concealed by matching wood panels.

KBIS

The Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) is considered the world’s largest international tradeshow...

We are excited to be attending this year's Kitchen & Bath Industry Show in New Orleans.  Our showroom will be closed from tomorrow, Thursday the 18th, to Sunday the 21st.  We are planning on taking lots of pictures to share with everyone.
