Just a small thing in the absence of something longer this week.
âOne could walk the field and they crunched underfoot...â
Gonna be taking a brief break starting this week. This is my first experiment with putting my writing out there on a regular basis and I think Iâm missing something that should be getting more eyes on my work. I need to take some time to confer with other writers and rethink my process a bit.
Starry-Eyed (flash fiction, 300 words)
She put on her gauntlets. Then, carefully, testing its hold, she pushed on the lid of the ancient stone chest.
Well, I've officially written more during the month of August than I did during the entirety of 2019. It's not some great wordcount--13k--but it represents me not being done yet and I'm happy to have it.
