consider: aya as marcus. it makes absolutely no sense. I just think it would be funny for some reason, considering the difference in personality. margaret could be in vienna, she fits the vibes tbh. kouyou would be some random higher up working in the foundation??

Nah could you imagine aya dragging Kunikida everywhere saying like “I saw this suspicious looking guy and a painting you should come look at it!” it would be quite iconic. Yes to margaret, as for Kouyou I’m still on the fence about whether she’d join Chuuya in the mafia in 1929. Like obviously the hardest part about that would be whether she’s a recurring character. But plenty of people join the manus so who knows (certainly not me (o_o ) )

would lucy (from bsd not the robot) play a role in your r1999 au??

I don’t think she would play a specific role (that I can think of at the moment). I know I’m splitting parts of the PM between the Foundation (Mori for example) and Schneider’s Mafia (Chuuya, Kouyou, Kyouka). Rats/DOA are manus, Hunting Dogs are Foundation, and I was honestly thinking of making the Order of the Clocktower the order of the Circle. But the Guild? I have no clue about the Guild. I’d want to put them with the Mafia in 1929, and maybe do something with the money becoming food because duh. But as for Lucy herself…… I think I’d split up the Guild. I’d have Lucy working for Fitzgerald in 1929, and have Atsushi meet her while the gang is trying to infiltrate Sigma’s casino which is being used by the mafia. Either that or I’d put her with Poe in 1913 in Vienna. But yeah if you guys have thoughts you should like. Give me them. I am motioning to you with grabby hands right now.

any thoughts on who chuuya would be in your reverse 1999 bsd au???

I know I didn’t outright state this in my last post, but Chuuya is Schneider in this au! It was between her or Lilya, since Lilya’s attitude and love for alcohol matches with Chuuya’s vibe. But ultimately I thought putting Chuuya and Dazai in Schneider’s and Vertin’s respective roles would be incredibly angsty and I couldn’t pass that up. Plus their color’s kind of match (red/blue lgbtq ship save me)

I had a whole plot point written out but I deleted it because I don’t wanna spoil too much here. Part of me wants to turn it into a fic or some short comic or something. So you guys will have to keep speculating on how skk gets out of this one lmao. Just know it might follow the game canon in more ways than one while deviating in others (although probably not in the way you want or expect ehehehehehehehehehehehe >:))))))))))))))))

opinions on story chapter 6/e lucevan le stelle??

MANY ACTUALY (spoilers obviously)

First, Isolde and Kakania’s dynamic is so interesting. Like, Kakania is a very big social activist, and she tends to voice her opinions freely. They *are* radical ideas for the time, but the means that she wants these ideals to be achieved are less so. Isolde, on the other hand, is very susceptible to manipulation while also not having the morals to analyze her actions. I need to go back to watch her backstory on youtube or something, but there’s an obvious connection to her arcanist powers and subsequent “hysteria.” While I was almost positive she killed her brother (you don’t have an ultimate animation that looks like that without having done something lmao) I was surprised by how she joined manus vindictae. Kakania didn’t realize how susceptible Isolde was to her suggestions of a place for just arcanists.

Kakania’s views on Sigmund Freud are also interesting to me. We in the modern world kind of frown upon many Freudian concepts, but Kakania embraces that idea of suppressing one’s true thoughts and feelings, and that it’s a main cause of mental strife. In fact, her whole ability is centered around that idea, showing people their inner thoughts through mirrors as a form of therapy. However, this backfires when Isolde takes those suppressed and amoral feelings and runs with them. It’s almost like a little character arc for Kakania, where she has to ask herself if these ideas that she has are really the best way to view the world, and to what extent is suppressing certain urges a good thing. Also Kakania Isolde doomed yuri, we always have to have one every chapter.

Marcus and Hoffman (crying). Hoffman was such a good mentor to Marcus in that she taught her the Foundation’s procedures while also allowing her the freedom to follow her own morals. And when Hoffman died ughskldngsdjhgfosdhgisdgh and Marcus got incredibly upset, the procedures took a back seat to her emotions. Marcus my skrunglyyyyyyyyy I love her. I haven’t read the Lighthouse yet, so I don’t have a full grasp of her character, but from what I know already she is my daughter.

Also Medicine pocket is always a pleasure to see, I love them a ton. They’re literally so funny and deserve as much screen time as possible.
