My hand writing is awful but I GOT THIS TUTORIAL LFG

To break it down without my poor handwriting:

to start the base, mark out the top and bottom, the top being ideally wider but it doesnt have to be if you want top and bottom to be even. (Also note i forgot to put the top of the bar thing is angular but from the bar to the bottom its smooth. I apologize if my wording doesnt make much sense..)

The Shoulders; these can be placed above the bottom, it between the bar and bottom in official artwork, but if your just doodling/not paying to much attention you can put em on the bottom rim. Id just avoid putting them Fully on the bottom as it could look a little funky.

THE FORGETABLES, or at least what i call forgetables; The spines. A lot of metang fanart forgets the spines. And i swear it irks me everytime- granted its usually when someone is drawing them from memory but like they’re right there. Oh also lil detail but you can define the bar, rim, disk thing.

Small n simple, the biceps are just cylinders. Dont forget the elbow joints.

Forearms!!! You style these however, their half-ovals. Make them buff, make them slender, this applies to the whole beldum line but draw them however! Refer to official artwork if you feel you need to, they can be shaped whichever way. (*Remember the cuffs)

Tendons and Claws, simple: 3 claws each arm and the tendons go up the back(?) of the forearm.

NOSE!!! Easy its a cone, depending on the angle your drawing THEY HAVE ONE ON THE BACK ASWELL. Also final metang-cope note here, the nose is above the bar, rim, disk thing but depending on your style, that and the other ramblings in here, are subjective.

Add whatever eye shape you want, official artworks have them like trapezoids. But get creative with it! Metangs can be stylized however which way (is it obvious that Metang is my favorite pokemon yet lmao)

End of year Character/Art Dump

I feel my art has improved ALOT this year especially, and while i dont think theres anything here on Tumblr to compare it all too, i would still like to show off.

(Im also assuming this is where a lot of my followers will learn about my fandom interests since ihdk when the last time i updated the HTML theme was)

Firstly, Yenay reference; Im very hyperfixated on Bleach and Yenay is, as far as I can recall, my first Bleach OC Im still currently working towards a full reference including different angles, her hollow hole being in the roof of her mouth, and all sorts of stuff & shenanigans.

A lot of bleach here, I have a little mini story that involves this Goddess of a woman- (fun fact, first time animating smth i am obsessed with; i have made multiple gifs of my characters blinking and i cannot stop, this isnt a cry for help simply an observation)

To sum a grand amount of it up: This lady is Valeria [Last Name TBD] and she can easily be introduced as Baraggan’s very very very very VERY long distance Ex. And yk what? You dont get to have further context. In this characters lore, Baraggan goes on a date to become god-king of Hueco Mundo. But Ill go off about her another day; Evrrythings kinda written, but This is a character and art dump. Ill make a post another day with all their lore.

@arrancarfag YOU! 🫵 YOU ALREADY SAW THIS EARLIER ON BUT IM JUMPSCARING YOU WITH IT AGAIN ANYWAY! I loved drawing this so much i do not care if they are doing absolutely nothing excited I LOVE HAO, AND I LOVE HOW THIS CAME OUT!!

And lastly-

Another pretty lady 🥺

She actually does not have a name *yet… like, at all. But she has a very tense relationship with Valeria. Very… Very tense… and there is a lot to unpack with her. Shes ashamed of various aspects of herself; having to come to terms with the reality of the world around her. Shes very friendly towards hollows, But strikingly, overall, shes very quincy-esque in how she carries herself. Does she adore hollows out of just that: Admiration, or does she perhaps feint a nurturing smile out of pity towards their instinct-driven minds? Does she really, truly care? What are her motivations? Is she a Quincy? What is the truth here?

(No but really— Ill make a post or two later in the year eventually, maybe even a fanfic or potentially more artwork. I just never post often because of not being to proud of my work, which is thankfully changing; Things are getting better. Im hoping to share more of my art this year as a way to just generally works towards being more confident overall.)
