are you a "realistic" pessimist or are you psychologically conditioning yourself to reject positive outlooks and reinforcing negative neural pathways....... are you being realistic or are you failing to examine how the way you view the world is influenced by emotion just as much as everyone else. are you a pessimist because theres nothing redeemable in the world or are you not acknowledging that emotions and mental illnesses can put blinders on you that block out the incredible depth of human experience. is there nothing of value in life or are you reinforcing those mental blocks that prevent you from having the chance to experience it

pessimism is easy. too many people dig that pit deeper and drag others in because its less difficult than climbing out.

im not saying that everything is sunshine and flowers, but fuck, life is dense with worthwhile people and experiences. don't help your brain cling to those depression goggles. don't reinforce that habit.
