I’ve been feeling how out of sync we’ve become with the Earth. We’re living by a clock that doesn’t account for that. The calendar tells us it’s time to move on, to reset, to start fresh even when the body is still shedding. Even when something hasn’t finished moving through us yet. We force ourselves to keep pace with a system that was never built for our nervous systems, or for women, or for anything cyclical. The Gregorian calendar is efficient, sure but it’s disconnected from nature, from the Earth, from the way the body actually processes change.
Returning to ourselves is taking time back from systems that replaced rhythm with control.

I am primarily a devotee of Hermes and have been working with him for close to 10 years now. Along with my ability to sense auras, He helps me sense which deities are “hanging around” other people!
i know i dont really talk about witchcraft on this blog much, but i thought i’d drop my usual morning magic on yall !
I came up withthis sort of accidentally? like i just started making my coffee this way without really thinking about it but it’s honestly helped me a lot. also it tastes really good, so theres that
too my morning coffee i add:
fresh cracked black pepper for protection. Black pepper corns are used in charms of protection, banishment or sending back hexes in southern magic. Here i use it to ward away evils i may encounter in my day’s journey
ground cinnamon for adventure (and luck with money ;P). cinnamon is associated with offerings to Hermes, god of both travel and commerce. Here i use it to help carry me through my days journey in a fun and pleasant way, as well as to hopefully help financially
Chili powder to spice up my day and bring positive, fiery energy. this is used to energize me and help me really Wake Up and get moving!!
if you make your coffee in a pot on the stove like i do, stir in your sugar with a clockwise motion while thinking/chanting to welcome positive energies and joy to your day. then, stir counter-clockwise to Banish negetive energies and disruptions to your day. if you make your coffee with a coffee machine, then just stir it in your cup after you’ve poured it
AND, you may wish to consider giving the first sips to a spirit or diety! i pour out the first bit of coffee from my mug into my offering cup on my alter. this morning i dedicated it specifically to Lady Hestia to welcome positive energy and spiritual warmth to the home, but you could leave the coffee as offering to any god of your choosing, or if you are a more secular witch, just to the passing friendly spirits in your home. the steam coming off a hot cup of coffee is a welcomed offering, and can help bring in some good vibes
so thats like, my very basic morning magic, if you try it out let me know how it works for you!
I cannot comprehend the amount of love and support that deities can give to a mere human like me. These past weeks is a hell ride. I have not gotten a time to upload stuff on here, I am at the point of giving up on breathing because nothing has been working out for me and everything is in shambles, I even stopped God phoning because I feel like I just don't deserve them anymore. I was just filled with the mentality of "Dieties don't like weak worshippers" thing. But something caught my attention, in those days, I get various of signs that resembles them and events that made me feel like I am ok. At first I was hesitant because I have this thought that maybe I am just lonely and I am making things up. BOY, I WAS WRONG.
Because after a few days of rest my mind cleared up a bit, I have this sudden urge to just stop whining and pick myself up, it was not the usual "oh I will just stop crying and just suck it up", no, this was " I am ready to take on the world, square up Bi-!". The first thing I did is to grab my tarot card and do a little reading for myself, I alwas not so sure why at the time but I just rolled with it. I then remembered these past events and I asked if my dieties are still there (yes I have the guilt and expected that I will get bad cards, I was also told that my energy can intervine with the outcome). The first card that jumped out was the ace of swords, and immediately thought it was Hermes, but I pulled out a clarifyer because of my skepticism taking over, this freaking clarifier flew out my hand when a wind gushed in my room. The thing faced upright when it landed on the floor, I got the Magician and I got the strong hunch that he is telling me that the signs and out of the blue events that I have seen and experienced during my worst weeks is them rooting for me. I asked who are the dieties with him at the time and I got the Emperor, I dead ass thought it was Zeus until I pulled out a clarifier, the tower card (Papa Ares ain't subtle when he is proud hehe~) and the Lovers which tells me that Lady Aphrodite is with him too (ah yes the love of "parental" dieties qwq). Then the last one was the Heirophant and three of cups, which I believed to be Dionysus. I was too surprised because when I do card readings I barely pull out major arcanas, they are just not subtle making themselves known XD. I was able to connect everything and next thing I know I was so overwhelmed by the comfort and warmth.
And to this I say "Hail the Theoi!" I am still learning to deepen my worship to them but my Gods, this is like a huge jump and I love them for it.
Hermes pranked me in a tarot card reading yesterday! It’s been a while since he’d done that. I actually felt a presence and I asked who it was after I did my Mabon jar of gratitude because I’ll be out of town during their dates of Mabon. The first two cards that fell were 7 of cups in reverse and 6 of wands. Now the 7 of cups is said to have been represented by the planet Pluto. Which any underworld deity could represent. 6 of wands is Jupiter. Jupiter is either Zeus or Thor (depending on which pantheon you ascribe to) so I said aloud: “ok well hello Thor I guess? Or Zeus?” And I swear something told me to ask again. So I reshuffled because I hadn’t felt a pull to work with either like I have my other Dieties. So I was like … huh that’s odd. So I shuffled again.
The magician in reverse came out. 🤦🏽♀️ Guess someone thought I needed a laugh 😂
