Lunaâs hands were cool against his skin, and he didnât fight her when she led him to sit. When she left him, he slouched until his flesh elbow came to rest on his knee. The other he let hang between his knees, then held his head with one hand. Perhaps he felt this way because he hadnât slept well the last few nights. He was tired and heavy, and where his arm met metal hurt.
Ardyn had been around, and taunting at him, muttering nonsense and threats. That was was clearly insane, which made it all the harder fot Ravus to ignore, or to sleep, for that matter. He wasnât entirely sure he wouldnât he murdered in his sleep just because Ardyn had a whimsy to do so. Or for him to hurt Lunafreya.
âBy the Six,â he sighed.Â
