So I changed my mind and decided to create a twitter account. For anyone who's looking to follow me off of this site I'll be posting everything I make to twitter (dot) com/hearth_taro. Take note that I will not be making separate accounts for sfw and nswf anymore, and my twitter will have both.
It's hard to put eloquently how inane the decisions for this site have come to be. Especially considering the significant portion of the user base that is part of the LGBT+ community. This new policy divides, limits, and stifles creativity in sexual expression that is necessary for many in the community. Even i, as an asexual, have a rather complex relationship with sexual media, as is evidenced by much of my content on this, and my NSFW blog. I feel like this new policy is at best: greatly disrespectful to a great portion of the userbase. Now lines must be drawn, people have to walk on eggshells and figure out "what's okay" and "what's not". Is this 1920s rules or 2010? The free nature and range of expression has been noticeably and possibly irreplaceably tarnished on this site. Remember the date 12/17/2017 as it is the date that tumblr rebranded thier site, and turned on its userbase. Only time will tell how this decision will impact the site. For those of you who may care: do not have an alternate site where I post my art at the moment. I do lurk on boards dot barachan dot org, where I sometimes fulfill draw requests when I'm bored or inspired. It is an adult site so, you've been warned.......

I'm trying to win the "Strangest PSA" award with this one. I didn't have much time to draw this week so I tried to find an excuse for just showing y'all a bunch of unused sketches.....this is the result. I actually didn't know about my own lanolin allergy until I was an adult and had been using blistex, carmex, and Burts bees for the longest time not realizing that they were the reason my lips remained chapped and kept getting worse and worse.

These are my new babies. They are smol and cute. They ate nearly all of my moina culture in a little under 6 hours lol. For those who are curious these are white cloud mountain minnows, nothing special, sometimes even sold as feeder fish. Golden white clouds are a bit more popular but I've got to admit I like the regular form better. They're actually quite interesting with flashy tips on thier fins. An iridescent stripe on thier sides and red on thier hindfin. They move too much to get a good picture. But they are a great beginner fish as long as you keep them in a group since they tolerate variable ph, are not picky about food, and do not require heated waters.

Super early sneak peek at the Pokémon Go that's set to be released late 2019! Here you can see my first encounter with a Caterpie. I was so psyched! There doesn't appear to be any capture system in place just yet. Right now the game is still in extremely early alpha. The developers right now are really just trying to nail that new surface recognition software. Sometimes it causes the phone to lag, but this time it seemed to be okay. It really makes it look like the Pokémon is right there in front of you in real life! Towards the end you can see one small issue with the character going a bit off model. It looks a bit cartoony, but again this is extremely early alpha so I guess that's to be expected. Super psyched to see the final version!
Ever since waaaay back in high school, I've wanted to do a book that could help furry writers and artists organize thier thoughts and focus on world building aspects for thier stories. From big things like history, to small things like what kinds of shirts to use. I'm far from an expert on furry comics...but if there's one thing I know I can do better than everyone else it's overthinking things. Trouble is...before I wasn't talented enough to draw the book....and now I don't have the time....orz. life can be so cruel :p
