we’ve made another revolution around the sun, and with this comes opportunities to reinvent and better yourself if you didn’t get the chance to earlier in the year. well, that’s the idea anyways. i personally believe that you can reinvent yourself and make changes whenever you see fit, that you don’t have to wait for the beginning of the year or for the “perfect” time, but i digress. i encourage you to make some sort of change in your life, whether it be big or small. start that project you always wanted to. ask that person on a date. finally take care of yourself the proper way. your future self thanks you. :)

i will be partaking in making changes myself. i will make some changes to content building for my social media, specifically regarding writing, and making a schedule for doing so. i will be submitting work to more zines and journals, and i will be more conscious of how i am treating myself. honestly, i started doing better at that (treating myself well) in the past few weeks, and it has felt very nice, so i want to continue that. i hope you can find the same betterment in areas of your life you wish to have it in, and with that, cheers to 2022!

hello tumblr! my name is taryn, and i am an author that is ready to share my work with the world. i just wanted to give a short intro of me before i start blogging away here! i am 19, have published a book, own and run my own blog, and i am a college student. i work mostly in poetry at the moment, but i would love to write novels as my writing career goes on. i hope to learn a few things about blogging here on tumblr, as well. i will see you soon with more posts, and let me know if there is something you would like to see or questions you may have!
