Orange "I like it!"
This one was awesome. It was rich and tasty and dark and we both loved it Twenty dollars well spent.
To try
The sweetie liked this one, but I was disappointed. Good but not great for a thirty dollar wine.

The Other Woman Red Blend
I think I paid like $15 for this sexy little number. It's not bad! Mostly Cab and Merlot with some syrah, this is a pretty good red blend. It's got a lot of flavor!
7/10
Ironside Reserve (2016) This is a rich, dry, tangy wine. This would be a good contrast to sweet things. $20 wine from BJs. Not bad at all. The SO liked it. Blend of merlot, cab, petite sirah and zin. 7/10.
Justin Cabernet Sauvignon (2015)
My first wine liveblog! Picked this up for $20 at BJs, and it’s a little disappointing. It’s a pretty light wine, tiny bit acidic. It doesn’t have the ‘two buck chuck’ hallmarks of cheap wine, but this feels like it should be half the cost. Probably won’t buy again.
5/10
2011 Peju US Red Blend "Piccolo"
Sadly I got this at a restaurant, so I paid wayyyyy too much for this red blend that should be about 30 dollars a bottle. This is a good, rich blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon & Petit Verdot. I had it with steak and a stuffed hash brown at the Butcher and Singer in Philly, and it really rounded out a great meal experience.
9/10
Apothic Inferno
Probably my household’s favorite wine. It’s rich and full and has a great oaky flavor. And looking at 10-12 dollars a bottle, it’s really got no faults. The only downside is that it is a limited release but hopefully it will become a regular Apothic flavor.
9/10.
90+ Cellars Big Red Blend
This was a good wine that did not disappoint for a budget wine.
7/10
Chocolate Shop wine sounded promising, but tasted like someone took a sweet red wine and added chocolate syrup to it.
1/10, do not recommend.
