Hi! I really love your Psiionic cosplay and I'm working on my own Psiionic and was wondering how you made the head piece. I get how you used the LED lighting but the actual structure is giving me some difficulties. I would really appreciate your advice!

Much easier than you’d think:

1. Glasses (colored lenses)

2. Garden wire + adhesive

3. Paint: gloss Glidden in “bright black raspberry”

4. Connect all wires from behind with velcro

I'm not sure if you've been asked this before, and I'm sorry to bother if you have, but how did you make the fantastic squiggly purple base setup thingy for your Psiioniic cosplay~?

I explain it better every time it gets asked, so np :P

1. The base of my “skirt” is an illustration board shaped into a cone (better than poster board)

2. Apply tentacles using GREAT STUFF Big Gap Filler spray foam

3. The oozy layer between the tentacles is made from hot glue, applied to look like… noodles(?)… running & tangling down

4. Paint: high gloss Glidden in “bright black raspberry” for the tentacles & “regal purple” for the layer beneath—these are pretty much the exact colors Hussie used in the Helmsman’s panels
