This design has been lurking in my brain for months, and I finally got it to a point I'm happy with. I was in a very particular mood when I came up with it.

I'm considering making it into stickers or t shirts as well!

Monster Hunter Wilds is running a fan contest for weapon and pendant designs, and I was inspired to enter! The Artian Compass is based on the artian weapon line, and let me tell you, it was a pain in the ass trying to draw a gyroscope freehand. I don't regret using Blender for it at all

My Monster Hunter inspiration continues to drive me, and I keep designing things off of my horrible biome killer dragon. Most recently, I started learning Blender in order to model the greatsword design!

Monster Hunter Wilds sparked my speculative biology brain into overdrive, leading me to design this wonderfully awful apocalypse creature. Inspired by Bearded Vultures and the Hooded Pitohui, Adostafor is an obligate bone-eater, a lethal packmaster, and a devastating disruption to any ecosystem.

Elder Dragon: Adostafor, the Singing Bone-Bringer

Element: Poison

Weakness: Water

Adostafor was initially classified as a Flying Wyvern, due to its appearance and the subtle nature of its abilities. It wasn't until researchers had several months' worth of ecological data that they came to realize what Adostafor is capable of. Adostafor secretes a powerful neurotoxin from its feathers that it scatters around its territory. The toxin makes its way into the systems of all the native wildlife, building up over time and across generations to leave the entire ecosystem devastated. It is also capable of parthenogenesis - Adostafor lays eggs that, if left unfertilized, hatch into smaller bipedal monsters called Osciprey. Osciprey are aggressive carnivores who hunt down and strip the flesh from their prey, leaving the bones for Adostafor to consume at its leisure. Adostafor can perform an empowering song that strengthens itself and its minions, in a remarkable similarity to the Hunting Horn used by many hunters. This song can be heard for miles, and is also used by Adostafor and Osciprey to communicate and coordinate.

Between its pack, its poisons, and its song, Adostafor can rapidly establish itself as the uncontested master of any given territory, slowly driving its native lifeforms to extinction. Once it does, it will live off their bones for years until it runs out, at which point it will abandon the dead biome and seek out a new territory.

Fallen London has some absolutely wild lore, and "The language of the stars that burns itself into what its written on" in particular inspired me to try some symbol design of my own

My hope is not for a peaceful world, nor for a world free of suffering and loss. That is a hope for an impossibility. More so, it's not fun. It isn't fun for everything to be nice and good. World peace. I don't want that. What I want instead is a world that is worth living in, that we can enjoy life because we are alive.

My dnd group's planning to try out MASKS: A New Generation, and (like always) designing a new character has proven to be the best source of inspiration! Eridani (they/them) is an Outsider who's having a blast on Earth because it's way more fun than the situation on their homeworld

The Perennial Nightmare

Born of the dark and the wild unknown, the Perennial Nightmare is an embodiment of the campers’ fears melded with the living forest. It was once a forest spirit, but some malicious machination twisted and corrupted its purpose. Now, it embodies the nightmares of mankind. 

The Perennial Nightmare is the main monster from the MotW game I'm currently running! It's stalking the edges of Camp Perenell, waiting to slaughter anyone who treads outside the camp's grounds. It's killed three NPCs and one PC, although the PC has the ability to come back so that doesn't count

In-progress map for the Monster of the Week mystery I'm running right now. Camp Perenell is a year-round camp that hosts many different events and activities, but it's currently under siege by some kind of plant monsters. Bad times all around
