Tatl grinned; she clearly liked how she’d been described. “The very same! Name’s Tatl. How do you know that little pipsqueak?”

“Heh, he’s not such a pipsqueak anymore, but yeah I know him. He’s my light counterpart. My name is Dark Link, but Dark will so just fine.” He thought for a moment. “You’re the one who went with him around terminal then?”

“I…think you mean Termina,” Tatl responded, her voice dubious. “Yeah, I showed him around, helped him beat things up… it wasn’t that big of a deal.”

“It is a wonderful color. And who would you be, little fairy?” He found it odd that a fairy was talking to him but they didn’t seem to be bothered by his dark magic.

“My name’s Tael!” The fairy declared proudly, his glow flaring ever so slightly. Perhaps Tael had simply had enough experience with dark magic not to be phased; far more likely, however, that he just didn’t notice. “Who are you?”

Skull Kid tried to inch past the guard, holding a vial of pink liquid. Hopefully the spell that merchant gave him would work… maybe.

Tatl flitted around the guard’s head, knocking on his helmet and shouting in his ears. She was being a proper nuisance; so much, so, in fact, she even convinced the guard to chase her way from his post. She only hoped Skull Kid would be finished soon.
