A Meeting
       The military moved into the area in which the beast had been spotted. They walked among the beasts without even noticing them. How could all of these well-trained soldiers simply miss all of the beasts surrounding them. Perhaps killing some of these had granted me the ability to view what is unable to be seen through normal eyes. I decided at that moment to not move yet, If I were to make to rash of a move, I might end up dead due to a misplaced bullet. I analyze the situation and begin to see who might be the most susceptible to attack. During this, I notice someone I recognized: Mason. He had long since been my friend, but I had not seen him in a little over a year since we graduated High School and we moved on. I decided at the moment I saw him that I would do everything I could to help them. I begin to move, with my knife in my hand. Once I had started moving, I began to hear gunfire. The fighting had begun.
       I quickly make my way to the nearest squad that is under attack. I begin helping them, but their weapons could not injure the beasts. On of the soldiers had thrown away her weapon and began to fight them off with a knife, though it did not have any effect. I sprint around the battlefield and continue to kill the beasts while noticing things that I had not known before. I saw people holding off the beasts with their hands, but they would simply pass straight through most weapons. I appeared my weapon is unique in some way. Ever since I had picked up this blade, I had been able to kill these beasts. It appears there is more to killing these things than I originally thought. I already realized that killing the beasts enhanced my physical ability, but there is more than just that. This is more like an RPG than I ever thought. Its as if killing these things grants a certain amount of EXP that allows your body to improve where It needs to. I begin to notice some of the soldiers are able to use their knives to kill the beasts, and it slowly become more obvious that I am correct. I round a corner and run straight into Mason, fighting off a beasts with a knife.
