"When you come out of the storm you won't be the same person that walked in. That's what the storm is all about."

There’s this quote that stuck to me ever since I read it, “be the kind of soul that others wish they could meet you a thousand times”.
الترجمة الصحيحة: كن الروح التي يتمنى الآخرون مقابلتها ألف مرة.
To be the best of who you are, your heart and soul, for everyone that crosses your path. Be simplistic and powerful with your words, be meaningful in your actions, have purity in every intention you make. With Allah in my heart, I want to make sure others see that first before they meet with me and that in itself is empowering in the most humble way.
I don’t want to leave a mark in this world. Allah already has.
Closing this chapter of my life, to welcome the new beginning.
This journey has and always will be, my greatest life lesson. Everything in this book, encompasses my thoughts, my emotions, my sorrows and joy, my lessons and my promises. Messages to myself, and my messages to you. I made a promise to myself, that when a chapter in my life ends, let it end. For a new beginning awaits and all my fears will cease if I remember that Allah has full control of it.
All of my works and my moments, every blessing, inspiration and beauty, do not belong to me but to Allah. Finally sharing my journey with you all, I hope it can bridge our hearts together as an ummah. I pray nothing more for it to aid in your journey too إن شاء الله
You can find my book here. I will also soon release a free pdf version of it for those who cannot access it, along with a campaign I am starting to donate a percentage of the proceeds.
From my heart, thank you 🌹
“Quando l’ho visto, ho capito che lo avrei amato per sempre. Davvero? E da cosa l’hai capito? Dal dolore. Tu sai che l’amore è un’ape? Un’ape? Sì. Noi abbiamo l’ape dell’amore chiusa nel nostro cuore e addormentata. Solo quando l’ape si sveglia e ci punge, è il vero amore. Se no, sono stupidaggini, sciocchezze. L’ape punge una volta soltanto e poi muore.”
— Stefania Bertola - Biscotti e sospetti (via perpassareiltempo)
The suffering that reminds you of Allāh is much better for your soul than the blessing that leads you to forget Him. And once you realise that, even your hardships can’t break you.

5 Important Choices
1. Choose to be thankful
2. Choose to see the good
3. Choose to be courageous and to try something new
4. Choose to forgive, and to let go of the past
5. Choose to move on, and to make the most of life.
Some Things to Remember…
1. Waiting and not knowing is a large part of life.
2. Often, what we fear doesn’t happen in the end.
3. We all have our flaws; everyone is on a journey.
4. Expect to get things wrong and to mess things up at times.
5. A good and trusted friend truly is a gift and treasure.
6. Treat yourself and others with kindness and respect.
7. Be patient in your struggles as they teach important lessons.
8. Believe you have the grit to create the life you want.
Allah always answers prayers
One of the best feelings: recognising when Allah swt responds to the words you cry in sujood
I asked to see the smile of Allah and I was flooded with images of the beautiful things He has blessed this dunya with.
Allah reminded me of the sunrise I see on the mountains everyday
Allah reminded me of the clear blue of ocean waves
Allah reminded me of the thunder claps brought by lightning during a storm
Allah reminded me of how beautiful and delicate spring flowers are
Allah smiles upon us everyday, we just need to see it

Tips that have helped my Salaah...
- Imagine the Ka’bah in front of you - Pray as if you can see Jannah and Jahannam - Standing for Salaah will make your standing on Yawmul Qiyamah easier - Pray as if it’s your last - Every time you say ‘Allahu Akbar’, it’s a reminder that Allah is Greater than anything that could occupy your thoughts - Stand for Salaah with fear and love of Allah, and hope in His Mercy - Remember that Allah is watching, and He knows that you’re trying
Just a few more…. - Really focus on the meanings of what you are saying (if you do not understand the words, look up the translations beforehand) - Prolong your sujood - Pause between each action (e.g. rising from ruku’) - Before Salaah, prepare your mind by reading Qur'an or doing dhikr - Make sure nothing is distracting you, such as your phone or needing to use the toilet - Concentrate during your wudhu - Remember that each word or action could be your last
Some days
my heart is bursting
with the echoes
of a thousand
‘Alhamdulillah’s’
Loud enough
for even the seed
of a rose
to listen
and bloom
in His praises
too.
