Indulge in the bold flavors of tequila and lime with this easy grilled chicken recipe. Perfect for a quick and delicious BBQ, the marinade adds a zesty kick to the juicy chicken breasts.
Ingredients: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 1/2 cup tequila. 1/4 cup fresh lime juice. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon cumin. 1 teaspoon chili powder. 1/2 teaspoon paprika. Salt and pepper to taste. Chopped fresh cilantro for garnish.
Instructions: Add tequila, lime juice, olive oil, garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, paprika, salt, and pepper to a bowl. Mix these ingredients together to make the marinade. Pour the marinade over the chicken breasts that are in a plastic bag that can be closed again. Put the bag in the fridge for at least 30 minutes with the lid on to let the flavors blend. Warm up the grill over medium-high heat. Take the chicken out of the marinade and throw away the marinade. Grill the chicken for 6 to 8 minutes on each side, or until it's done and has nice grill marks. Use extra tequila lime marinade to baste the chicken with in the last few minutes of grilling to make it taste even better. Take the chicken off the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Then cut it into pieces. Add chopped cilantro on top and serve hot. Add your favorite sides and savor!
