maybe taylor’s consistent “everyone wants to fuck my boyfriend” is less about people actually being obsessed with him/trying to “steal” him & a lot more about thinking so little of yourself that you assume anyone could walk up and take your happiness away from you, because you dont deserve it, and you’re so desperate to believe that this love is yours, but are so frantic that it’ll be stolen by someone more worthy than you, because to you every single woman out there is more worthy

I always thought Taylor would never drop an album out of nowhere and while she did give us a heads up..... I am still shocked this is happening

I swear she did it because everyone was joking that she was going to drop TS7 out of the blue.

The fact that Taylor went from trying to say “No– I’m, I’m making a better record” while holding back tears after learning reputation didn’t have any grammy nominations and then planning everything so it would be polished and perfect and flawless and hiding details in everything and making Lover this beautiful elaborate masterpiece… to less than a year after its release saying “Before this year I probably would’ve overthought when to release this music at the ‘perfect’ time, but the times we’re living in keep reminding me that nothing is guaranteed. My gut is telling me that if you make something you love, you should just put it out into the world. That’s the side of uncertainty I can get on board with.” Like, she went through that transformation, and even without hearing this album yet I can feel its gonna be so raw, and natural, and freeing…. I just don’t think I’ll EVER get over how proud I am of that. I already love this album with my whole heart @taylorswift
