i love the nature of game lobbies when they’re set up to rematch you with pretty much the same people over and over, just filtering out people that leave and refilling their slots but having a few mainstays throughout bc you build up an emergent narrative with these people. last night i got matched up against this guy, who, im not gonna like doxx his gamer tag but i kept calling him Gilroy bc if you squinted at the text it looked like his name was Gilroy so i was just calling him gilroy. anyway gilroy sucked major ass and i couldnt not stomp him through the floor every time he had the misfortune of running into me but he was so spirited that he kept trying and i was like how many times do i need to teach you this lesson gilroy. any amount of times. i live for this. and then a few matches later he got put onto my team with me and i fought really valiantly side by side with him and was forced to watch him get executed and it was so sad. a warmonger got him and i was like GILROY and tried to interrupt but i got nabbed and held down by a shinobi it was so funny and so awful. just on my knees watching my gilroy get skinned alive like NOOOOOOO GILROY
