Where do I even start speaking about @taylorswift? This year has been pretty bad for me (and pretty much everyone) but it got better when my best friend told me to listen to Taylor swift. And believe me I fell in love with her. The first song I heard was love story and last was umm… can’t say. It was her who taught me to be strong after a big fall, she taught me that even after several heartbreaks we can find one who truly loves us, she taught me that working hard towards your passion will one day make you successful, she taught me that there are always people who will try to put you down (especially being female) but it is upon us that how do we take it. There are a lot more things that she's taught me. Still there are people who don’t like her, but neither she nor I care because haters gonna hate hate hate and hating such a kind person is their loss and not Taylor’s. There are songs of hers which made me cry, made me happy, made me sad, made me laugh and feel a hell lot of emotions. She is the nicest person alive on this planet and I’m really very grateful that I’m born in the same era she is. In her song long live she tells us to stand by her forever but if god forbids we will be separated but I will never leave her like ever, even if she herself tells (which she won’t) I will not leave her side. And yes one day we will be remembered (in the best way) . A very happy birthday Taylor Swift, or should I say, my role model <3. Love you forever.

@taylorswift She's more than just another singer to me. I see her as a TRUE artist. She transcends her feelings through songs and turns them into the feelings her listeners wish to experience. I've never been in a breakup, but I've cried to way too many of her breakup songs to deny the magic they hold. The first song of hers I heard was Look What You Made Me Do, and with no context, I was quite puzzled, but entertained nonetheless. From there on, a bit of a digging and dozens of songs later, I've been hooked. I love her so much and have crazy respect for her work, her genuinity and authenticity. She's faced plenty of struggles she really didn't have to, despite being one of the nicest celebrities out there. She's shown undeniable improvement with every album of hers, and with glowup after glowup I can't but admire her and the lessons she teaches. She's used her voice for more than just music, and lately her political involvement has made me respect her even more. Her storytelling ability has been the one constant throughout her ever-changing era's and aesthetics, and she knows it's what keeps us swifties hooked on her. Her latest albums folklore and evermore have showcased that very talents exceptionally, and they're my favourites from her till date. I'm proud to be a swiftie, because Taylor really has so much to offer. Quality music and immaculate songwriting that's almost entirely done by herself, a charming, charitable and adorable personality, a genuine passion for everything she does, true love for her fans and an impeccable work ethic. I think she's a wonderful role model. And I stan!

STOP with the pregnancy rumors 🚫

There’s a line by @taylorswift in the song peace off her 8th album folklore that says this:

“Give you my wild, give you a child”

And as much as many Swifties would be delighted at the news if she really were pregnant, it’s certainly not in our place to assume. At all. The meaning of the song is far beyond “hehe I’m preggers”. It states that she’d give her lover everything in her power- her wild, a child, understanding, company, her all. But, as the line “Would it be enough if I could never give you peace?” states that despite it, she cannot give her lover one thing, and that is peace. And it is beyond her control. That’s what the song states. Please, Swifties, respect that. Pushing maternity onto a woman is never respectable.

“Dear John”

To all the people who still hate on Taylor for namedropping John Mayer in the glorious tragic ballad beautifully written by 19-y/o @taylorswift,

1. For all you people not as well-versed in vocabulary as Taylor, a “Dear John Letter” is an Old English phrase or term that means a tragic, long letter written to an ex-lover. The song, a metaphor for this, is a 7-minute long sad masterpiece. Yes, literally called a “Dear John Letter”.

2. Although the clues are enough to point to the fact that the song’s name is a clever spin-off on the phrase “Dear John Letter” and most certainly could be about John Mayer, Taylor has neither confirmed nor denied that it’s true. So anything y’all come up with to toss at my queen is pure speculation.

3. There’s FAR worse name-drops out in the world.

4. She did not defame John Mayer in any way. John was already famously the playboy that dated younger women. Besides, he wrote his own song “paper doll” which is rumored to be about Taylor due to the line “You’re like 22 girls in one”, a reference to Tay’s song “22″. Nobody called him out for that, why? SEXISM.

5. John Mayer, having no confirmation that this was about him, went around saying Taylor was LOUSY to do that to him. No, John, it’s totally her fault, not yours that you dumped her so harshly and decided her song was about your entitled ass from media speculation!

6. It’s been 11 years. Calm tf down. She was 19. If I were to recount all the mistakes you people made at 19, I’d be counting stars. At least Taylor turned hers into a beautiful, wonderful songs that brings a tear to my eyes, and hundreds of thousands of bucks to her bank account.

Why Taylor Swift is *the* lyricist

@taylorswift​ has achieved incredible success throughout her career as a singer-songwriter and musician.

She started out in Country Music. Her second album Fearless is the most awarded country album of ALL TIME.

Then, she transitioned to the pop genre. Her fifth album 1989 is the most awarded pop album of ALL TIME.

Now, she’s switched to alternative music, or indie-folk. Her 8th album folklore has broken world records in a matter of days and is dominating the charts, and being celebrated left and right.

So how on earth is Taylor doing this? Just how can she be this good at three entirely different genres?

Because Taylor Swift is *THE* lyricist. Artists whose music’s personality is defined by the sound of it and the genre of it cannot achieve such phenomenal levels of success when they change genres, which is why entire genre shifts are this rare. However, Taylor’s musical branding has always been her songwriting, the soulful storytelling lyrics that in their essence, have always and will always be the same stellar artistry no matter what sound she takes.

It’s called versatility. Fifteen years into her career, she’s on her way to being an unstoppable force to reckon with, for she is *the* lyricist. Artist of the Decade? Pssh, Artist of forever, more like.

Folklore Album Cover Outfit Revealed??

@taylorswift​ at the Sundance film festival 2020, wore this:

Note the long jacket with large buttons, baggy pants underneath, large collar flaps and stripes. And it’s also almost black and white, like the album cover itself. 

Now, look closely at the album cover for Folklore:

Can you see it? It’s a long jacket with large buttons and stripes and giant collars, with a frock (possibly the same frock from the rest of the album photoshoot) underneath.

The only major difference is that she wore the jacket properly all the way around and not simply over-the-shoulders, like at Sundance.
