I just finished watching Sweet Magnolias and far out i hate whoever wrote the ending, I HAVE NO CLOSURE! I swear if they don’t make a season 2 I will cancel my Netflix account! Legit if you haven’t already, go watch it! Just know the ending to the season will mean you won’t stop thinking about it for weeks!!

This is my official call for a season 4 of Anne with an E, if you haven’t seen it, it’s banger! It tackles issues that are prevalent today while also being a remake of Anne of Greengables! It’s bloody lit!

Also season 3 is the best season and straight up it’s just cruel to end a show after its best season.

So I never once questioned the whole Taylor Kanye sitch, I was a supporter of Taylor through the whole thing and defended her to all my friends. Like I love her so much and never believed that she would lie for a second.

But seeing the full phone conversation and remembering back to how she carried herself with so much grace (also thinking back to the stuff she’s publicly said about it and reflecting on stuff like the self burn at the end of the lwymmd video) just make me love and respect her that much more. She did not play the victim, she didn’t even sue Kanye for using a NAKED image of her WHICH IS A HORIFIC VIOLATION (!!!) even though she was fully entitled to. And seeing how she has risen so far above it and is in a much more powerful place is honestly something that makes me want to cry happy tears. She’s amazing. No one else could have ever gone through that with as much grace.

I know this post is such a rant and literally makes no sense but I just love her so much and wanted to voice how much of a positive role model she is to me in my life ❤️

Also when she pointed out that she actually sold millions of albums before that whole vma thing and her fame wasn’t something that he should take a shred of credit for, it gave me life!!

Okay y’all a bit off topic but Crash Lansing on You (on Netflix) is straight up the best tv show ever. I’ve never been able to get over the subtitle factor in non English speaking productions but this show has changed me! Now I’m a Korean tv show junkie, I can’t stop! Straight up if you haven’t seen it already just watch the first ep and you’ll be hooked!

Hoping so desperately for a season 2 and in the meantime I’ll be rewatching over and over again!

I don’t have words...

This is one of those things where I didn’t think I could love the actions of a person in power this much until now. I sit here so emotional, feeling so related to, so understood, so justified and I’m so greatfull. The amount of times in this documentary I was screaming yes(!!) from seeing how close and supportive of each other Andria and Taylor are, to relating so heavily in what being a women is like in this world, to know what a Christian’s correct stand point (of love and equality) should look like, to seeing the inspiring level of work ethic in a woman (which I so so rarely see in my small country Australian town), to seeing the way Taylor has been so misstreated and so disrespected and yet has so much love and care for others and has risen so far above it that she can say “fuck that” and laugh about donald trump (a man I refuse to admit has power) hating on her, to discussing a journey of weight in such a pointent way, I just cannot not feel so inspired to do better and think better in the ways of others, and be as educated as I can.

This is just one of those thing where I need to mull over what I’ve watched, feel the weight of it, feel the way my perspective has changed and be so thankful for it ❤️

Thank you so much to Taylor, the team of people who made and featured in this documentary and the people who have built up this amazing woman of power who knows the weight of her power and uses it to better those around her!
