A completely clear cloudless winter night with the brightest full moon I've seen in ages. A completely ink black sky with a bright white moon, shining strongly enough to cast distinct shadows of the trees onto the snow. Bright enough that one would've been able to drive a car with the headlights off, on moonlight alone.
