Unable to stop his sobbing or trembling, once the other let him go, Loki curled into himself on the floor once again placing his hands over his head as if to protect it from a beating he thought would come. This is truly what Loki had been reduced to. Someone who had been tortured so badly they knew if they did something wrong and out of touch that they would be punished for doing so. Was this what Asgard stood for now? Torturing their prisoners till they were frightened so much they become obedient to everyone, including the All-Fathers, words? That hardly seemed fair, did it? 

Guess it didn’t really matter now, considering that’s exactly how Loki ended up. Broken and frightened to the point where he cowered in fear, even to a man he had no idea who they were. All he knew was that this man knew Thor, and that meant Thor was near and that meant going back to all the pain and punishment for getting away. And that…

Of course, what could he do? It wasn’t his fault for ended up in an unfamiliar place. It wasn’t his fault he was no longer in his cell being tortured for who knew what. And the fact that plenty of Loki’s memories were blurry and unfocused… It meant.. It meant.. Well, Loki wasn’t sure what it meant, but it still wasn’t fair. It wasn’t fair that only he got tortured.    The intern had no idea what to do. This man was clearly frightened and broken and by the looks of it, physically and mentally. Brown eyes watched him cradle his head into his hands. Did Loki assume that he was going to hit him? That's crazy talk! Darren would never lay one hand upon him and to be honest, he was a bit more frightened of him then Loki was with Darren.

   "Loki, don't apologize. I'm not gonna hit you, yell at you, or anything at that matter. I'm just here to take care of you. Odin or whoever is not gonna lay one finger on you okay? I promise."

   Darren was telling the whole-hearted truth, he wanted to help and wanted Loki to believe every word he said.

"Y-you’re pregnant?"Darren asked, his heart beating faster at each second. His first kid, his little mini self. The thought of it made him feel so joyful inside that it caused a bright smile to form upon his lips. First instinct, he walked up to Loki and hugged the other tightly.

                             This was the start to there future.

      “I’m so happy. Shall we start thinking of baby names?”

The young prince was taken aback by the others happiness. He was ready to be told off — tell him he was disgusting and that men shouldn’t get pregnant, but here he was, being told the other was happy. Something he was definitely not used to, but it made his heart clench. Was he serious? Or just playing around. Loki wasn’t sure anymore, but he hoped it was the latter of the two.

So, Loki nodded, jumping when the other hugged him tightly, only to hug the other back tightly and dig his head into the others neck. This was so frightening — yet in a good way.

"R-Really..? Y-You are okay with it?" Loki swallowed deeply before his eyes widened in slight panic. "W-W-What about Odin? H-H-He w-will take m-my baby away from me a-a-again…!" And this was true, or so Loki thought. All of his other children were banished or locked up because they were thought monsters but.. but… if it happened again, Loki would break completely..

    Darren nodded his head in response to his question. He was genuinely happy that he's gonna have a child. His mother always questioned when she was gonna have grand kids soon so they'll make his mother happy. The intern looked at him and placed his lips upon his gently.

    He wanted to know that he was excited for his child and couldn't wait to start picking out names. Darren's smiled moved quickly into a frown as he mentioned Odin and how incredibly scared he was to have an image of Odin taking his child away from him.

    "He won't touch our child, we'll keep it on earth. I won't let him lay a finger on our baby."
