People today talk a lot about establishing the dīn in society, but they forget one thing: every individual will be questioned for what they utter. Establishing the dīn has never been cheap, it always comes with a price, with sacrifices.

Yet when Allah tests them through that very sacrifice, khallas, they retreat. Suddenly everything is blamed on taqdīr and placed on Allah, while forgetting that Allah gave them a choice: to rely on Him, to sacrifice for His sake with certainty that He will replace it with something better, and that His reward is immense.

Shaytan will always place waswasah in the hearts of believers. But a true believer chooses Allah and His dīn again and again, over comfort, over people, over fear.

Renew your niyyah. Shift it from pleasing yourself to pleasing Allah, and everything will fall into its rightful place.

Oh Allah, if the only bit of goodness that my heart holds is the love for You, Your prophet, and the believers, then Ya Allah, accept it from me, and allow it to be the reason for which You allow me in Jannah.

Some people will choose their careers and passions over the path you once hoped to walk together. Only a few are destined to remain beside you. This path is lonely, carved for strangers who are not meant to walk in crowds. So prepare your heart for departures. You will meet many along the way, but not everyone is written to stay until the end.

Keep reminding yourself of the goal, the intention that pulled you toward this path, the reason you left behind your passions and comforts. Strengthen yourself with the knowledge of this deen. For this journey is long, but with every step, you are preparing yourself to serve this ummah in ways others cannot.

In today’s world, many claim to be doing "Dawah", but we must pause and ask: What is the real intention behind it?

The Prophet ﷺ taught us that actions are judged by intentions. Yet, we find some turning the sacred act of calling to Islam into a display of their lifestyle, their aesthetics, daily routines, or perfectly curated content. This creates a subtle shift from "inviting to Allah" to "inviting to the self".

It's important to renew our niyyah frequently. Even something as noble as Dawah can become hollow if it's done for likes, followers, or personal validation.

Spending hours on social media, constantly sharing, scrolling, and comparing, it chips away at our iman silently. When was the last time we sat in quiet reflection, made sincere tawbah, or recited Qur’an without an audience?

Islam encourages khalwah (isolation for the sake of the soul), moments of solitude where we reconnect with Allah, away from the noise. But if we’re always online, always seen, always consumed by digital presence, how can the heart ever find peace or sincerity?

Dawah isn’t about being seen, it’s about guiding others to the One who sees all, even what’s hidden in our hearts.

Nusaybah bint Kā’b al-Māziniyah al-Ansārīyah رضي الله عنها set out with the army of Khālid ibn al-Walīd رضي الله عنه towards al-Yamāmah and took part in the fighting herself. The Battle of Yamāmah took place against Musaylimah al-Kadhāb during the خilāfah of Abū Bakr رضي الله عنه. Nusaybah رضي الله عنها swore that she would not lay down her weapon until the liar of Banū Hanīfah was killed. Allāh fulfilled her vow, and Musaylimah was killed. She رضي الله عنها returned to al-Madīnah with twelve wounds, all of which were badges of honour for this fighter of J, a sahābīyah who set a brilliant example for Muslim women of defending the dīn, even if it meant that she had to go through what other women like her, who stay in seclusion, cannot usually endure. After this battle, Khālid ibn al-Walīd رضي الله عنه took special care of her. Nusaybah رضي الله عنها said:

When the battle ended and I went back to my tent, Khālid ibn al-Walīd (رضي الله عنه) came to me with a doctor who treated me with boiling oil; والله - By Allāh, that was harder for me than if he had amputated. Khālid ibn al-Walīd (رضي الله عنه) checked on me a great deal and was good and kind to us. He acknowledged our rights and followed the instructions of our Prophet (‎ﷺ) concerning us.

ٱلرِّجَالُ قَوَّٰمُونَ عَلَى ٱلنِّسَآءِ

That’s a qawwām. That’s Khālid ibn al-Walīd رضي الله عنه. So where are the ones like Khālid and Nusaybah? رضي الله عنهما

*ما يستحب في رمضان*

يستحب الإكثار من قراءة القرآن في رمضان، والذكر والصدقة؛ فهو شهر اجتهاد في العبادة والطاعة، وقد جاء في «الصحيحين»، عن ابن عباس قال: (كان رسول الله أجود الناس، وكان أجود ما يكون في رمضان حين يلقاه جبريل، وكان يلقاه في كل ليلة من رمضان، فیدارسه القرآن؛ فلرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أجود بالخير من الريح المرسلة)

💨What is recommended in Ramadān❓

It is desirable to recite the Qur’ān a lot in Ramadān, (and to spend time in) remembrance, (dhikr Allāh) and charity. It is a month of diligence in worship and obedience, and it came in Al-Sahīhain, on the authority of Ibn Abbās, who said:

The Prophet (ﷺ) was the most generous of all the people, and he used to become more generous in Ramadān  when Jibrīl met him. Jibrīl used to meet him every night during Ramadān to revise the Qur'ān with him. Allāh's Messenger (ﷺ) then used to be more generous than the fast wind.

I never struggled to remedy anything more difficult upon me than my intentions, for indeed, it constantly changes upon me.

“I will make so and so the reason for me to enter Jannah.”

Say this sentence to yourself whenever a person hurts you in this path, be it your parents, your peers, spouse, friends.. 

Let your patience against their oppression be a reason for you to enter Jannah, use their harm for your own benefit, take advantage of them for your akhirah.

don't busy yourself with other than Allah سبحانه وتعالى during this blessed month and then claim that it doesn't feel like Ramadan, this is a month that comes to purify us and we don't know if we are going to live through it let alone live to see another one!

Don't waste time, if you find yourself sitting about then open up the mushaf and recite, if you're sitting in your car then open a pdf on tafsir, if you're busy, exhausted and hungry then start reciting your duas for the dua of the fasting person is more likely to be answered, don't waste your time

if you're left busy in your kitchen then place your earphones in and listen to a beneficial khutba or listen to Quran, try to memorise, there's so much you can do for Allah even while you are busy, we must not allow ourselves to think otherwise.

Strange are the times we live in; where a person who prays 5 times a day is considered pious, if they grow their beard they’re considered scary & unclean, if their pants are above their ankles they’re mocked, if they wear the niqab they’re deemed as oppressed.⁣

Strange are the times we live in; where the Muslims who vote & push for democracy, partake in gay parades, go to the clubs & hang out with & touch the opposite sex are labeled as good muslims. While those who forbid evil, enjoin good, reject Tāghut & call people to the Sunnah are labeled as “extremists” & “backwards” & told “times have changed” how can this be when the Qur‘ān and Sunnah are guidance till Judgement Day?⁣

How can the follower of the Sunnah be called an extremist when Muslims are enjoined to follow it and take the guidance of the Prophet ﷺ as his example? What would you say about the Sahāba when they followed the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ so closely?⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣Criticizing the followers of the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ & accusing them of being extremists is offensive & is slander. Allāh has issued a warning to the one who does that, let alone the fact that it is an imitation of the Mushrikūn who did this before.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣Allāh says: And those who harm believing men and believing women for [something] other than what they have earned have certainly born upon themselves a slander and manifest sin. [33:58⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣]

⁣⁣⁣Furthermore, we must understand that it is not permissible to follow a system other than Islam, one of the indications of our acceptance of Allah as our Lord & Muhammad ﷺ as our Prophet & Messenger is that we adhere to Islam inwardly & outwardly & that we respect the laws of Allah & follow the Sunnah of the prophet ﷺ. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣We must be proud of being Muslims & we should trust that the rules of Islam are best for us in this world & in the next & we must disavow ourselves from all systems that go against the Laws of Allāh.

⁣Umar ibn al Khattab رضي الله عنه once said: ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ “We were the most humiliated people on earth & Allāh gave us honour through Islam. If we ever seek honour through anything else, Allāh will humiliate us again.” [al-Mustadrak 214]

Life is relatively short, yet I still don't understand why man allows hundreds of desires to take up residence in his heart; perhaps his faith in death is still weak.

Abu al-Wafa bin 'Aqil said: “ Be cautious from His punishmient and do not become deceived, for the hand is cut for the theft of something worth a mere three dirhams, and the lashes are issued for the consumption of a small amount of alcohol, a woman entered the Hellfire on account of a cat that she mistreated, and a garment of clothing had become fire for the one who unlawfully took it from the spoils of war, even though he was murdered by enemy combatants”

How do you finish a belief system whose people have a firm, unquestionable conviction in it being revealed by Rabbul-'Alamīn?

You can't!

Will they never learn that this dīn is superior? Will they never learn that the more they fight it, the more it spreads? Will they never learn that it's futile, thinking it will end by killing a man or two?

It is like the analogy of a tree whose root is untouchable and its branches is its men and women, the more you cut from the branches, the stronger it grows back.

That's why it is paramount that women seek knowledge, otherwise, their children become ignorant as they too are ignorant of the religion and it's rulings. Men should seek to marry women of knowledge, and women should strive to acquire the knowledge and impart it to the next generation. ❞
