The whole comedy is that people think that the Cone is Light son.

I don't think they would look that close to look as Father and child(mostly bc they meet before even L make his appearance, so Light is around Shinichi age)... And especially after they being to suspect one another it be mostly awkward for anyone that's between them bc the mostly silent smiling mental battle

And IDK about Misa...I would like her to more of a big sister before anything else

Conan: Like Ayumi-chan said, there's a lot of scary cases that we've come across. I don't want to name specific cases, though. Any case that involves deranged culprits that don't know their limits, deep mysteries or any life at stake are scary cases to me.

Mitsuhiko: I found our first case to be quite scary. It is a bit silly, but I was unprepared! I did not know what to do!!

I imagine that, even if Light knew his whole situation, he still couldn’t use the Death Note—Shinichi’s got such a powerful identity crisis going on at all times that the Note simply doesn’t know which name is the right one. Even in Ryuk’s eyes, his name is constantly shifting between Conan and Shinichi

I need more moments like this! Just Shinichi getting to be incredibly happy when he’s back in his body for a little bit. Like I need him to do something incredible mundane, like reaching something on the top shelf, and smiling like an idiot. Or maybe he gets a moment to dance with Ran, and he’s absolutely horrible at it (not being used to long limbs will do that to you) but he doesn’t even care he’s just happy he gets to do this with her as himself. Let him be excited to run faster than he’s used to. Or be amazed that he can carry heavier and larger objects. Maybe he’s talking to Hattori and he’s smiling the whole time because he’s seeing him at eye level. I don’t know just Shinichi getting to be happy doing even the most minor things in his own body. Even when he knows it won’t last.

i think it would be a REALLY fun concept. to explore the idea of Jirokichi Suzuki finding out about Kaito's identity/whole angsty backstory, and attempting to, like. adopt him into the family???? do none of you realize how funny this would be.

actually it's even funnier if he DOESN'T know Kaito's identity but DOES know his general age (can't be older than a teenager) and his whole reason for stealing- and just. makes a public announcement about bringing Kaitou KID into the family and Kaito's just sitting there like "????????????????????" cause this was NOT discussed with him before hand and in fact he doesn't even KNOW that Jirokichi KNOWS

Lupin the Dog is fucking thrilled by this. that's the most important thing here. the moment Kaito decides to drop by Jirokichi's place and fancily says some words that basically translate to like "hey uh what??? is this a trap?? cause it's very confusing-" he gets barrelled over by a way too happy to see him dog and Jirokichi is just like "see that proves it you were meant to be part of the family from the beginning" and Kaito gets no choice in this matter

and SONOKO'S REACTION???? please it'd be so funny. fanfic writers that have the time and can actually write the dcmk characters well i am begging you to take this concept from me and run with it. PLEASE.
