The Order of the Wakandan Tribes - (2021)
A follow up to The Order of The Avengers (available HERE and HERE). All the outfits are inspired by the ones of various African people (Maasai people, Zulu people, Himba people, etc..) but also by concept art from the book The Art of Black Panther.
OH SHIT THEY DID THAT!
@petite-madame these are amazing!!
Where was Bucky Barnes during the whole Eric taking over Wakanda? Like was he just guarding the goats?
Erik: Iāve killed your king and now weāre gonna get revenge on the white people!
Bucky, a white who was snuck into the country completely illegally:
#Black PantherĀ #erik killmonger #this never fails to make me laughĀ #itās such a good deliveryĀ #I think one of the things that make erik really good as an antagonist is he genuinely had those cool and kinda funny momentsĀ #where you sort of shared in how satisfied he must feelĀ #like the casual āhey auntieāĀ #even if youāre worried about the characters heās threateningĀ #you get that āwow i bet that was satisfyingā feelĀ #at least i didĀ #i couldnāt help but feel that connectionĀ #and when youāre sharing in an antagonistās satisfactionĀ #while still liking the characters they are up againstĀ Ā #you know theyāre well written
I think this is a great example of how well Erik manages to control the context of whatever scene heās in. The first time he turns up in the palace, TāChalla tries to shut down his challenge to the throne by referring to him as an American chaos operative, but Erik turns it around on him by announcing his Wakandan name and heritage in xhosa, recontextualizing himself as a rightful Wakandan challenger.
Here TāChalla is taking him at his word, addressing him as a fellow Wakandan royal whom he can legitimately challenge for the throne, and Erik turns it around on him againĀ by responding and identifying as an American chaos operative, who feels no obligation to respect Wakandan traditions.
āa kid from oakland running around believing in fairytalesā is sadder and more sympathetic than ANYTHING lucasfilm did with kylo renĀ Ā
I present to you, Spongebob!Black Panther by @pleadingthefilth and I, because we have absolutely no sense š
MāBaku: VICTORY SCREEEEECHĀ
W'Kabi seeing the Jabari tribe come up the hill: ITāS AN ALASKAN BULL WORM!!!!
White Museum Lady: itās just a stupid boulder!
Erik: [poisoning her] itās not just a boulder! itās a rock!
Erik, killing Zuri: HOW MANY TIMES DO WE HAVE TO TEACH YOU THIS LESSON, OLD MAN?!
Iām bringing this back because it was actual gold
Shuri: M'Baku! You just missed the craziest of crazies. Cars. Spears. Fugitives. Invaders ā COUSIN?!?! Ritual combat. Fleeing the scene. Hiding in the woods. Coming here. Crashing on your couch for a week ācause technically weāre fugitives.
guess what I watched this weekend!
Well, maybe you should make it a little stronger.

God this is one of the most impactful moments of the entire franchise. That walk! Her lines! Black pantherās little smile!
This is the first time in the entire franchise a woman who could most assuredly beat the mf breaks off of Natasha was seen on screen and for her ONE line and scene, Florence DELIVERED. Look at her body language, the space between Ayo and TāChalla, the length of her strides, the POWER in the slenderness of her body, truly like a panther herself. Natasha dares to disrupt her mission to bring her king home after getting him tangled up in international affairs, and her line is only a polite warning because it has to beāno doubt if they hadnāt been in the presence of the King, she wouldāve pushed her out of the way. The look she gives her directly after TāChalla tells her to stand down is no less scathing either.

Black Panther End Credit Spoiler: The screen is blank Captain America walks center frame says āare you negroes happy now? ā and leaves.
And what are these? The real question is what are those?!
iām sorry
If I never contribute anything else to the Black Panther fandom I still have no regrets (based on a tweet by @wrong_mchalla)
"would you kill me my love?"
"for wakanda? without question."
