my thoughts on chilled teas (emotional :/)

saying chilled makes me smart. smart people write good reviews on chilled teas. so that is what i will be doing on this here evening.

iced tea- iced black tea is a classic. but southern folk enjoy annihilating the immaculate flavor combustion that is black iced tea by sweetening it. now, many people have become accustomed to this indescribably atrocious concoction and it hurts my frail heart. iced tea is for the soul and popular brands ruining its name by adding unneeded sweetness is an outrage to society. there’s many types of iced tea and i don’t know why anyone decided to sweeten its perfect taste! green iced tea is a godsend from gregory’s coffee and whenever the world decides it is done having big boy scary things happening, that will be the first liquid that moistens my parched throat. iced tea brings the most incredible drink to a whole new level and is more socially acceptable at later meals in the day. it is the perfect host for lemon flavoring and a reusable straw. raspberry and passion fruit iced teas (anything fruit really) are all so much fun as long as they aren’t sweetened!! please don’t sweeten your tea it makes my heart shatter all over the ground. it chokes me from the inside and beats me down into rubble on the sidewalk. it terrorizes my brain and pounds me into a thoughtless oblivion. i am an unsweet tea enthusiast and if you are from out of the states apparently any tea that isn’t hot is an abomination but i think you guys are really just missing out xx.

bubble tea- there are like seventy different names for this tea i think maybe and to be quite honest, it’s just sweet tea with choking hazards and milk. i only really drink it when i ask for a sip from my bubble tea addict friends and its fine for a few sips but then the flavor combinations are too overwhelming for my limited palate. the little tapioca boba things are really fun and add some excitement and adrenaline, but there is always so many like why so much maybe i just want tea. anyway i respect everyone who likes bubble tea because it is adventurous and i wish i had your confidence.

hard iced tea- get back in the pond if you are going to act like such a silly goose!!

Pink Wild flowers, Bedruthan Stepps, Cornwall, England

Carnewas & Bedruthan Steps (Cornish: Karn Havos, meaning rock-pile of summer dwelling and Cornish: Bos Rudhen, meaning Red-one’s dwelling) is a stretch of coastline located on the north Cornish coast between Padstow and Newquay, in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is within the parish of St Eval and is part owned by the National Trust. The Trust maintains a shop and cafe and the cliff–top view of rocks stretching into the distance along Bedruthan beach makes the area a popular attraction for tourists and painters. The property affords walks along the coast path and the steep steps at Bedruthan allow access to a series of rocky beaches at low tide (not owned by the Trust). Signs at the top of the steps down to the beaches warn visitors not to risk swimming in these waters due to heavy rips, fast tides and submerged rocks.

The Cornish cliff top,s look at their best this time of the year , that added splash of colour breaks up the harshness of the rock,s giving an extra lift to the over all scene . It,s all ways a great plesure to be at thease locations in the evenings , just sitting waiting for the light to change in the soft sun is the best fealing in the world

I know you have all missed me during my hiatus but I am back with a new post and a bunch of tea reviews to quench your guys’ thirst for my opinions.

This is not a pic collage endorsement I’ve just gotten rid of much tea over these many months #happynewyear

Tea is looking very wasteful to me right now I should go back to using tea leaves directly into the tea pot with the reusable filter and I literally say that all the time whatever let me begin.

Pomegranate White Tea. What an invention, let me tell you. The first time I tried this was many moons ago and it made me realize there is more to life than black and green unsweetened tea. It is from Homie Joes, formerly known as Trader Joes, and it tastes as if the gates of heaven have refuted your arrival forcing you into anagnorisis self evaluation. I don’t know how that can be taken lightly, it is delicious and mind-opening which you must realize. It doesn’t have an overwhelming flavor so it is good for morning and night. I would rate it a 9/10.

Peach Tea! So yummy. Not much to say except it doesn’t taste anything like peach yogurt which could be a turnoff to sickos but I am healthy #wearamask #doublemask #kn95 I would give it a 5/10.

Tazo Passion Fruit Tea. You may have tried this before in a Starbucks drink as this is the brand Starbucks used to get their tea from I don’t know who Teavana is or where they get there tea from now because I hate Starbucks they are mean even though their citrus tea is rather yummy. Anyway, love this stuff. If you out it into anything that isn’t a ceramic/stone mug it will take over the taste of the container for many washes as it has a strong flavor but otherwise, stupendous. I think about it all the time and it makes a killer iced tea. Not actually killer though. I don’t condone murder. It can leave a fuzzy taste in your mouth but it is so worth it 10/10!

Ginger Turmeric Tea. Not good 1/10.

Candy Cane Green Tea. I beg mother dearest for it each Christmas Season and it always sticks around for the next few months as she bugs me to finish it. I like it a lot but it is really just for the spirit of the season and my mother’s disappointed look. 3/5

Tulsi Rose Tea. I understand I’ve reviewed this before, as I have the Lyon’s teas, but bare with me. (bear? idk the difference) It is still good but the only reason I continue getting it is because I just want to. Like, that’s it. I don’t even know if I like it, it’s good, but do I like? Life is full of these conundrums and I just can’t handle it right now. I don’t care/10

Harney & Sons Dragon Pearl Jasmine Tea. This brand is delightful. They also have my faves of Paris and some wedding tea they have nice packaging and triangle tea bags. I love triangles. This tea is amazing I would definitely recommend anything from this brand. 10/10!

Lyons teas. They’re good for mornings. 4/5

English Tea Shop Holiday Collection. Anglophobes are welcome and encouraged, but these teas hit. They have some funky little flavors in there some with chocolate and cinnamon, which rarely belong in tea, and somehow, they all are rather pleasing. This was a Christmas gift and I am glad for it. Each flavor has a few per package and bring me happiness. 7/10

Strawberry Tea. Pretty yummy. 3/5

Hey guys! It’s been a while! I’ve decided to change this account into an inclusive rating account. I felt limited with my old persona, I mean there’s only so much seltzer to rate, and it can get boring am I right?! So I’ve decided to rate an abundance of things, hence the new username.

Getting right into it this is my new hand sanitizer. It’s a spray on lavender scented hand sanitizer. I picked it up at Trader Joe’s last weekend and believe it or not I’ve been searching for a lavender spray hand sanitizer for YEARS (this is not a joke it’s been like 3 years). Now you may be wondering “Mel why were you so eager to get a lavender spray hand sanitizer? That’s such a peculiar item!” I know! I know! But the answer to your supposed question is because in Taylor Swift’s vogue 73 questions interview she mentioned her very own lavender spray on hand sanitizer and I had to have one. But enough about the back story let’s get to the review. This hand sanitizer transports you to a magical, whimsical, fairy wood with every sprits. I swear when I close my eyes I can see the flower filled forest and the tiny homes of the kind fairies. The lavender is THERE! The refreshment is THERE! The germ killing is THERE! The fairies are THERE (in spirit of course)! The lovely lavender label claims it is 99.9% effective against germs. The company is also very environmentally friendly. Post-purchase I decided to research the Dr. Bronner’s brand. Upon my lackadaisical investigation, I learned that they make environmentally and socially responsible products. Their website was impressive, informative, and inviting. Not only did I find a great product, but I found a great brand! If I remember this family owned business and if I’m willing to drop a few bucks on another product, I’m sure I will not be disappointed. I do recommend this product, and it was extremely satisfying to finally find the product I’ve been anxiously searching for for years. This product is awesome and useful during the pandemic! Rating: 9.7/10
