Notes: Dodo (I think you are a dodo.. correct me if I'm not knowing my birds) anon!! Hello!! I'm so excited!! I kinda love this and I made some of it a wee bit comedic, I wanted fluff sooooo no homophobia going on what about it- it also really makes me wanna write platonic lesbian reader fics so if anyone wants me to expand on these ideas.........

Darrel Curtis: You're basically his baby sister at this point- not that much younger than him but still!! He definitely knew from the start you didn't like guys so when you come out to him in tears he's smiling "C'mon ya know I knew this right?" He asks and you were confused as ever but Darry had always accepted you and let you confide in him about anything

Dallas Winston: "Just don't get with Sylvia when we break up, that dumb broad would date anyone as long as they were breathing" Busy being salty but it does mean he now sneaks in a "Do ya swing both ways then huh?" if a chick doesn't like him so he can recruit for you, even if he does seem mean and like he wouldn't support you. So really, none of it ends up being horrible

Johnny Cade: Shocked but then again, he gets beaten. The least of his worries are which gender you like, he isn't quite recruiting random chicks like Dallas but he does like to be nosey and ask you questions about your type or if you were like a lesbian psychic and knew if you saw another lesbian. You answered yes you were to pull his leg

Ponyboy Curtis: You like whaaaaaaat..? He's slightly shocked but at the same time because I like the idea of either gay or bi Ponyboy you two sort of have each other to openly talk to, speaking of, Ponyboy and you who dated for like a week because you both didn't know each others sexualities- or just because you wanna hide it from others- It's Ian and Mandy if Mandy was lesbian!!!!! (shameless reference guys)

Sodapop Curtis: Well, he is the most liked guy in town. So I honestly see it as in "everyone likes Soda.. I guess I do too" for a lesbian you in denial considering you're also good friends with him, after a date or two you break down and cry into his chest telling him you don't think you like boys that way and really? He doesn't mind at all, he's always there if you need to lean on him

Steve Randle: Either he doesn't actually catch what you mean when you're coming out and thinks you're joking so just flirts as normal OR he ends up treating you like one of his guy friends- he's inhaled so much gas and shit from working on cars his brain is far gone (jokes)

Two-Bit Mathews: I mean yeah but obviously he's joking at you all the time about it "Adam and Eve not Amy and Eve" before he turns around "Amy and Eve has more of a ring to it, I'll let it pass for now" dumb stuff like that. Dallas Winston: "no kid of mine.." I mean he would rather you tell him you wanna ride a unicycle for your job for the rest of your professional life, he's so quick to snatch your phone off of you (you go viral for posting the video of him coming in and swooping up your phone when you're mid dance so it isn't all that bad)

Johnny Cade: I mean his parents never let him have any self expression, he wants you to grow up open and happy and out about whoever you choose to be so he bares through the second hand embarrassment he's feeling around you when you do a tiktok or something like that

Ponyboy Curtis: Well.. okay, he wouldn't personally do allat but he does make the comment of "You're so lucky your uncle Soda wasn't born in your generation, his digital footprint would be disgusting" Which deeply amuses you

Sodapop Curtis: You're gonna dance??? On tiktok??? And you aren't gonna teach him the dances so he can be involved and you guys can do a little duo dance???? Man he thought you loved him! Yeah no he just wants to be involved, he finds things like this very fun. Mentally prepare for the your dad is beekeepers age in the comments sorry

It was the morning after you'd fallen asleep with Johnny in your room after he'd spent a while kissing your face and telling you what he'd gotten up to the previous day, you woke up before Johnny did- which surprisingly enough was common for you two whenever you were with him

It was the real bed that got him sleeping in much much more then he ever would if he was just in the lot or a mattress on the floor or on the floor full stop and things like that. The other reason being the gang had completely tired him out from continuous football games, he really loved your house for a reason

You were in it and hell it was much quieter than the Curtis house was- don't get him wrong! He loves Soda, Darry and Ponyboy! But shit having all the boys there always meant there was chatter and bustle and just general noise to be putting up with, yelps about the others taking too much food, laughs, things like that

It had been a little now, not too long but you'd been up a while with him completely flopped on top of you. Almost snoring but not quite just breathing louder then he typically would, so you weren't all that bothered you just thought about him and how peaceful he looked for once

You couldn't help yourself, you gave him a little peck on the forehead over his jet black and shaggy bangs that basically covered his eyes now. Thinking about the fact he was due for a haircut and thinking about the fact you should probably offer one too, he had enough trust and you had hope and dreams you guessed

Johnny rolled over and you immediately regretted the peck you gave his forehead because it was the dumbest thing to wake him up over (in your current and humble opinion) he just smiled, letting his grin grow before opening his eyes

His eyes half lidded before he kisses your cheek and starts his immediate attack on your face, half grinning quite happily and you just hum a little "Yeah good morning" You say with a little smile and Johnny nods a little

"Yeah mornin'" He says with a groan and you just laugh as he presses kisses all over your face real nicely and gently, seemed like half asleep kisses was your thing. Sleepy kisses from Johnny Cade would be your thing from now

Notes: Since you asked so nicely, ENJOOOOOY @xoxoangelsweets this is kinda Soc reader asking out Johnny and I found it cute the dialogue is intentionally them being awkward 🥹🥹🥹🥹 because I like it this way

A soc girl? They're confusing, a soc girl who had a crush on Johnny? Completely unbelievable, honestly

And you were the enigma who managed to become unbelievable because while none of the greasers wanted to offend their buddy, they thought there was no way in hell you were being serious but here you were at the Curtis homes front door

You stood awkwardly, holding your Tupperware under your arm. Lips pressed into a line as you rocked on your heels a little idly, you could hear bustling and conversation inside the house you just couldn't make it out. Soda after hearing you were there for Johnny had ran back in and shut the door yelling a "wait there!"

"She's here for Johnny?" Pony asked with his nose scrunched up and Johnny let's his jaw drop as he pointed to himself looking confused as ever, Dallas just laughed "seriously man? Cruel joke" and Soda shakes his head "no seriously, in her Sunday best and lookin' all pretty. I dont think she's jokin'!" Soda exclaims

Johnny shook his head "gee" he says with a little stressed look as Steve leaps over to the chair to fix his hair "the hell are ya doin' man!" Dallas says his grin just growing and Steve shakes his head "Dal this is a once in a lifetime experience, there's a soc gal outside waiting for our Johnnycakes he needs to look tuff"

"She probably likes Johnny just how he is if she knows yall from school" Darry points out bluntly as he looks up from the book he's reading, sat on his armchair with a raised eyebrow and Two-Bit cackles at the sight as Johnny stands up shaking like a leaf

"Im goin' out, I'm confident" he says before wincing "Gee does my hair look alright? I ain't kidding does it look alright?" He looks over to the group with a mix of "mhm" "yeah man, fly!" All that positive stuff as Johnny glances out the window geez you were wearing a pretty Soc dress and saddle shoes

Your hair was done nice and you'd clearly put on juuuust a little makeup to look pretty when you saw him, he slowly crept to the door. He turned the doorknob as slow as possible as Ponyboy watched not moving at all like if anyone breathed the moment would be completely ruined

He winced opening the door praying you hadn't like, who knew maybe disappeared into thin air who knew what Johnny was thinking at the moment. He'd never had anything like this happen with him, you waited with a little nervous hum before looking up to see Johnny was there. The smile now spreading on your face

"Hey- I just wanted to give you this- uh, you know Sherri Valance?" You awkwardly smiled at Johnny, cocking your head to the side a tinge with the question "Uh yeah.. yeah" he nods a little, kinda staring at you in disbelief you even bothered to come to the Curtis home just to find him

Socs going to the greasers side of town was basically unheard of "yeah! Her family- Mr and Mrs Valance are holding a charity event and I wanted to know if you wanted to be my plus one-" this was her way of trying to get in for a first date with Johnny

"You can wear one of my cousins suits or something-" you suggest as you hold out the Tupperware "the note on top has the date time and place.." you say with a stiff nod the container quite obvious holding baked goods youd made especially to ask Johnny

You'd been crushing on him for weeks, he'd been crushing on you for months. None of it felt real, he just nodded "yeah- yeah absolutely I would love to- well yeah.. yes I wanna" he rewords with a nod, feeling his face heat up completely as you smiled "yeah? Perfect- I'll.. see you then?" You shrug

"Yeah! See you then" he nods and you walk back down the front steps going to the car just a few houses down with Cherry and Marcia in the front seats as Johnny turns to the guys and gives a thumbs up, both of your respective parties cheering for you guys as you scurried your separate ways
