Something I realized last night is what Mr. Butterfly is supposed to represent for Blue. Blue treats everything as a performance and we almost never see him break character, even in character he uses these sprites which are a pretty stark contrast to how composed he normally is. I think Mr. Butterfly is an outlet for Blue to express more intense emotions while still maintaining his calmer disposition. And honestly I think he’s sillier than he lets on—he calls Seth ‘cringe’ for god’s sake.

i really wanted to give more of the "flowers pretending to be people" vibe so i tried to make their faces look like they're made of petals... and those who care more about looking human tend to have the creases between petals shown less !!

i hope this doesnt flop it took me 5 million years to find good flowers that matched these guys both in color and meaning benji's tweet was a godsend
