Hiya. My family is currently at risk of losing our house, and I need your help. Any little bit will help and go towards keeping a roof over our heads and food on the table.
Currently, my spouse and I who are both trans and disabled, live with my family. My spouse is immigrating here to escape an unhealthy living situation in the states, but, back in November, my mother, who is also disabled, was wrongly fired from her job.
It was prejudice against mental health and disability. My mother is working hard to try and find a new place, but the market is tough, and she has physical limitations due to surgeries and disabilities.
I myself, and my father, are working as many hours as we can to try and even put food on the table at all, but that’s barely enough, especially with bills and debt looming over us.
Any little bit of help would go towards keeping our roof over our head, feeding our pets, and ourselves, and important medications while we try and find solutions.
Had a dream where Ivo became an angel after he died and Stone could only see him in mirrors, I was inspired to sketch them.
Also something something a man who committed great evils in life, his final act being one of love, he cheats the system and reincarnates as a holy being bathed in light, only to dedicate his angelic powers to Stone’s evil world-conquering cause. If you ask me, pretty selfless to commit yourself to one person’s hopes and dreams out of love.
After drawing Stobotnik bugs I had to try my hand at some other Sonic characters would look like in the world of Hollow Knight. Complete with journal entries written by Hornet herself.
Journal entry text:
Sprintmaster Sonic
A carefree bug as fast as the wind, guided by his whims.
To have travelled so far and seen so much, it’s difficult to believe he’s as young as he is. I imagine it bliss to live without attachment or obligation. However, my own tasks remain a priority.
Brother Tails
The fluffy companion of Sprintmaster Sonic, following him wherever he runs.
An intelligent and inventive child. It’s a shame he must grow up in such a hostile environment. I’m eased he’s found a role model in Sonic.
Champion Knuckles
An honour-bound warrior from an ancient tribe, accompanying Sonic and Tails on their journey.
I recognise his garb from that arena of combat in my own kingdom. To survive those trials and seek out more, he must be a formidable warrior indeed.
Silk Shadow
A vengeful life form crudely spun of silk.
I’m impressed Whiteward’s surgeons managed to imitate the pale monarch’s technique, although flawed in its execution. No doubt another attempt of the Citadel to prolong the lives of mortal bugs. I sense a pain woven deep in his shell.
Stitched Maria
A frail child, her life once held together by silk.
Being born sick in the Citadel is a tragic fate. Someone who held a lot of influence must have cared a lot about her to spin Shadow with the sole purpose of keeping her alive.
Surgeon Gerald
An ambitious professor of Whiteward, obsessed with achieving immortality through silk and science.
Even I know there are unequivocal limits to the capabilities of a bug’s mortal shell. Attempts to break those boundaries, I’ve seen before the fatal consequences. Even if it was to save his granddaughter.
