I love how some gene guides are these very organized and carefully made layouts with links and images of the gene on different breeds and then in different colors and a just the facts ma'am style regarding labels - and then other guides have the author's opinions and comments on each color

I genuinely like both ways I think it's cute.

My favorite example of the author commentary sneaking in though is the Wasp/Bee Visual Guide by Elligance where it's very organized and professional with no comments until you get to phthalo where it's written "...Phthalo...?" and I just love that.

Like yeah, that's exactly what I thought the first time I saw it back in 2017.
