Pokémon GO - Buddy System Niantic have just announced the recently leaked system known as the Buddy System. With this, you can select your favourite Pokémon which will appear alongside you in the game. As you walk in the game, your buddy will provide various Candy for you.

So I recently started playing Pokémon GO and chose Team Valor ♡

Had to make a little something for me and for my fellow Valor companions ♡

With the new patch, some users such as Toki767 have started to be able to test the new form of tracking on Pokémon GO. With the new tracking system, alongside the Sightings which may show Pokémon in the wild, areas may come up which showcase a Pokémon and their nearest PokéStop. If you tap them, the game will zoom out and show you the location, allowing you to properly hunt them down. They should be around 700 feet from the player. If you move out of range, it will disappear and if the Pokémon flees, you will get a notification saying so. It’s currently unclear how close to the PokéStop each Pokémon is to be. This is still in testing which is why not all players will be seeing it so things may change before it’s rolled out to all players.

Destroying the app’s rating is not going to get your tracking system back. 

Flooding them with erroneous refund requests is not going to get your tracking system back. 

Flooding them with complaints is not going to get your tracking system back. 

You know what’s going to get your tracking system back? Letting this vastly understaffed and overwhelmed team of people who brought you the literal most popular mobile game of all time, fulfilling childhood dreams in the process, get to fucking work fixing the tracking system but instead they’re fucking around with all of your immature bullshit responses that they now have to address because you can’t sit your ass down and be patient like a big kid.

Official code of conduct for all Pokemon Go players

Here is a set of rules that I believe all PoGo players should play by. The first 10 are the base 10 rules. Think of them as the 10 commandments of PoGo

1) Thou shalt not drive and play or stop the car in the road to play

2) Thou shalt not break the law to capture a Pokemon

3) Thou shalt be kind and courteous to all players and non-players

4) Thou shalt place lures in children’s hospitals to allow the kids to play*

5) Thou shalt not lie about a Pokemon’s location (I.e. Yelling “THERES A DRAGONITE HERE”)

6) Thou shalt be helpful to all players and spread knowledge of the game

7) Thou shalt not use PoGo to commit crimes (luring people to Pokestops to rob them)

8) Thou shalt encourage friendly competition and avoid violent conflict with the other teams

9) Thou shalt be mindful of your surroundings as to not cause traffic jams and to avoid danger

10) thou shalt not enter first responder buildings or obstruct said buildings to obtain a Pokestop. (Police stations, fire houses, etc.)

Now to the code of conduct that is more just being a nice person but doesn’t always have to be followed

11) share water with dehydrated players as to keep them safe (unless you have a condition that may harm that person)

12) do not drive slowly in heavy traffic areas to walk eggs and capture Pokemon.

13) Have fun and be kind

*please check with the children’s hospital before placing a lure to make sure it’s okay. This change was added on 7/27
