I finally got around to getting a vector program for my iPad and made this. pretty sure there's some things I could fix but I'm not gonna mess with it for now

free to use! I tried uploading it to Redbubble but it got flagged (I think because I used the word "logo") but if it gets cleared I'll share the link here too. personally I'm planning on making a pin of it

god I don't remember atm if this lines up with canon but. I have this thought in my brain that Jack is not quite 18 yet when the tragedy happens

Depending on much was comic propaganda vs irl media appearances he might have been forced to publicly attend their memorial services. mourning while there are multiple cameras shoved down his throat.

or, there was no service at all. His teammates' things were instead quickly packed up like they never existed at all. it's covered up, awkwardly not mentioned by even the scientists at the facility. He never said goodbye. He never got to give his condolences to their families- maybe he's not even permitted to see his own family to mourn Conner.

during the following weeks he wanders Area 52 aimlessly like he's the ghost. He has no idea what they have planned for him, but they're not putting him out in the field again yet. and he's still a minor, they have full say over what he can and can't do. the thought terrifies him.

So the minute he turns 18 and figures there won't be legal consequences, Jack does what he's good at. He runs. Maybe he gets the satisfaction of a confrontation, but he might just run. and not look back.

(It would make Conner's death an extra sore spot because he was over 18. He could have left, in theory. But he stayed with the Zenith program because of his brother. May be part of why Jack is reluctant to bond with the new kids- he doesn't want to be tied to this place emotionally. He wants to be ready to run)

ohhhh wait... Jack has the most moments with Cindy and Dylan bc he sees himself in them at different points in his life.....

Cindy is 6 years old and naive, still thinking Area 52 is a special place for special people. (the age when Jack was first "dragged" there)

and Dylan is 17, already disillusioned and constantly trying to escape/not be involved. (close to Jack's age when his entire team died and he'd lost all hope)
