has an irish accent but insists he was born and raised in the US. looks too young to know shit and he doesn’t but he somehow manages to fix your car anyway

uses the cars as props for his personal photoshoots. doesn’t do anything to fix them, but is somehow managing the garage regardless

what did rob say at the talk you were at/when was it?

It was a “Drunk Ted Talks” about boy bands (not affiliated with real Ted Talks) put on by music/entertainment folks in 2015.

Brittany Spanos who works w/Rob was discussing 1D & she brought up “Larry” (90% of the crowd booed I shit you not) and she laughed about it and said it wasn’t real blah blah girlfriends blah the usual and I was sitting in the front row and Rob, who was the moderator, got defensive and rolled his eyes at her, scoffed, and was basically like “you’re wrong…are you kidding me?!?” and talked about their dynamic and stuff.

I had video but can’t find it but it was amazing and he’s never been shy about supporting them. I talked to him after and he was like it’s clear as day. So take that however you want.

The thing I love is that it’s not like a random editor from some nothing website like he’s a longtime editor for an acclaimed magazine and Harry is vocally supporting his work & isn’t ignorant about the things Rob has written about him and Louis so he clearly doesn’t seem too bothered🤷🏻‍♀️

Reblogging to add that I spoke with Rob after an event he did for his latest book. We didn’t address larry specifically but Harry had just been seen wearing the rainbow flag pin and Rob was out of his mind about it. I was surprised he even knew that had happened- I’d assumed the news was largely confined to tumblr. But he knew and he was so excited. His exact words were “George Michael never could have done that!”
