The Duchess of Windsors bedroom in her Paris home.
WE taking turns to take photos of eachother is the sweetest thing in the world. I always loved the pictures of them at the bottom and then @godblesswe shared the top two recently and I noticed how often they did it.

The Duke and Duchess of Windsor at Nice Airport, July 1954.
The Duchess had already been there for a few days and went to the airport to meet the Duke when he arrived. Wallis is protecting her hair and David is protecting Wallis on a very windy day.
“we have “baby, we’re
dating rumors” married”
Wallis and Edward, they're so precious its unbearable. This is an outtake from a photo shoot they did!
just gonna leave this here
Wallis in China in the Summer of 1925, sat with her best friend Katherine Rogers.

Wallis, Duchess of Windsor at the 1974 'Romantic and Glamorous Hollywood Design' themed Met Gala.
i hate hate HATE that majority of people and the press relentlessly declare that Wallis was unattractive. Okayyy she wasn't brooke shields' beauty nor did she fit in the conventional beauty standards but almost every picture of Wallis i just had to overanalyze cuz i find her very beautiful.
Forty years ago today, Wallis, Duchess of Windsor passed away at the age of eighty-nine. She is seen above in far happier times, shopping in Palm Beach.
"Any woman who has been loved as I have been loved, and who, too, has loved, has experienced life in its fullness"
Wallis, Duchess of Windsor.
Forty years ago today Wallis Windsor passed away, she was 89. I have been thinking of what I should post today for a couple weeks, but I think her reflecting on her life in the 1950s and acknowledging how full a life she led is too accurate of a summary of a pretty insane 89 years to not post. There is of course a million and one anecdotes and adjectives I could use to elaborate on the fullness of her life but I feel these photos speak louder than words.
Wallis and Edward!!!
