This is a horrible doodle comic I cooked up before bed. It won’t make any sense to anyone outside of our D&D party, but you can at least look at it and enjoy the…art…

A bunch of digital doodles…
A mixed bag this year 2024, both in art and in life. Thank you to the now-over 200 people who follow my work on here! Here’s my #artvsartist for the year…
🖊️Looking back, I like what I was doing in my toned sketchbook on my Wacom more than most of the stuff I’ve drawn on my new iPad Mini, and I feel a lot of that comes down to not having spent the time to match my brushes and swatches to those I use on Photoshop.
✏️It feels like I’m using totally different materials when I draw in Procreate, mostly pen and colored pencils. Seems like I’ve been doodling and sketching casually, which can be a good thing, but I need to get back to sitting at my desk to draw sometimes too.
🥁I also lost my dad this summer. The last card I made him was a get-well card depicting Beardo running a marathon, likening his health struggle to an endurance race. Things just didn’t go the way they should have, and I feel deeply sad and bitter.
😶🌫️And after that I started dealing with my own health mystery, a big question mark still which has loomed over me for months even as the rest of my wound situation and pain and health is better than it has been in more than ten years. Health anxiety is no good, but this year it’s paired with such incredibly positive changes, well… it’s a confusing time.
2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣👀Next year, I need to sit down and put together my digital tools on my iPad, try to set them up to suit my needs a little better. Doodling and sketching is great and I’m pleased that I’ve been doing more of that, but I need to get back to sitting down and drawing more detailed, polished art too.
Some snowman sketches for the season. November is already going too fast.
Some Peanuts art I made this week for thank-you cards. I thought some folks would get some joy out of them on their own, too.
The back of the card. “CATOMOM” (cat-tom-mom) is on the back of all my cards and drawn to fit the themes.
Inktober the 31st: Landmark
Last day of Inktober. Thanks for fallowing my journey!

Little frog guy is dressed up as Shava, my sister’s D&D character, as today is her birthday! They both also have a bit of a cold but that won’t stop either of them.
