Mia met his comment back with soft giggles, and his smirk was met with a smile that settled on her rosy lips after the giggles calmy died down a bit. “Why alert the media when I can have this secret all to myself?” She lightly joked. “I’ve been…out of the loop, but mainly okay. I have landed a nice little singing gig at a bar, though, I only go up every Wednesday and Saturday evenings.” Her gaze shifted over to the menu for a moment before looking back at his sunglasses, quirking a brow. “You know, I might. I just might, if..you don’t take those sunglasses off. So rude. I haven’t seen you in forever, and here you are still hiding from me.” She gently teased.
Teddy shook his head at the mention of keeping the secret to herself. It actually sounded better than telling people. He didn’t need the whole city knowing he was a functional adult sometimes. “ You gonna use that secret for good or evil?” Teddy smirked as he looked back her way. “ Nice. What kind of music are we looking at? I might be persuaded to stop by one time. “ Teddy joked. Mia was a friend though so he’d be around to support her if she wanted it. “ It’s so bright out though Mia” Teddy sighed as he pulled the glasses off. He didn’t like people paying for his stuff, so he gave into her game. “ I’m not hiding. Don’t pay for my stuff”

“On my way down now.” He said as he hung up the phone and grabbed his keys. He made his way to Teddy pulling him into a sideways bro hug. “Damn I missed you. I’m so glad to be back.” He said taking in a deep breath of the city. “Now, are we heading to Ace or somewhere we can get into some real debauchery and fun.” he said his eyebrows raised.
Teddy sad in the driver’s seat as he waited for Callum to come down. Some guy was annoyed he was parked on the side of the street, but Teddy flipped the guy off, considering it wasn’t like he stopped in the middle of the road to wait. “ Wow never thought I’d hear someone missed me” Teddy laughed as he shook his head. “ Welcome back man Somewhere else. We should expand our horizons a bit”

“It’s just your surprise is surprising me.” She explained with a little chuckle leaving her lips. In all honesty she felt good around Teddy and it felt the same even when they were working. “Huh, you can try but deal with consequences later.” Imagining the situation, Remy would surely bring it up every time he had chance and would throw it in Ana’s face so she feels guilty about her statement. Nothing too serious.
“Maybe for the first time I feel like I want to go on a vacation, honestly.” Ana went through her hair with her hand, giving Teddy a tiring look. Suddenly it felt all too much and she was more mentally tired than she could ever remember. “I had a light altercation with one guy that resulted in gun wound and continuous headaches.” She briefly let Teddy in on what happened, giving a slight shrug at the end. “But it’s all fine, at least I have cool scar story, right?” Trying to lighten the situation she gave her friend a grin.
“Wow, you’re living my dream life.” Ana chuckled, shaking her head at his blatant statement. With everything going on she had time to do only the drinking part, which started to gently affect her mood.
“Just because I’ve seen everything, doesn’t mean I can’t be surprised too” Teddy smirked glancing back towards his friend. He had to admit the words he said didn’t make any sense, but sometimes logic flew right out the window when he was trying to be his usual charming self. “ Oh come on Ana, I am always dealing with the consequences, besides it’s nothing I can’t handle. “ Who would ever mention something to him to his face anyway? Teddy was that kind of person who always was ready for a party, but could turn on a dime.
“ You owe yourself one. I don;t think I’ve ever seen you have a day off really. “ Teddy laughed only to change his expression just as quickly. Him getting injured he could handle. He got hurt a lot, because it was part of the job. Hearing someone else got hurt made the enforcers blood boil. “ That guy still breathin? “ Teddy replied looking over. “ Cause if he is we should fix that. “ He knew she was brushing it off, but Teddy wasn’t so quick to calm down.
“ Isn’t it everyone’s dream life? A good time all the time?’

Wanting to catch up with every Royals member that he could to see how they were doing, Marcus knew he could do that at Ace so he made his way over there. Walking inside, he pulled down his hood and found Teddy sitting at the bar. “I feel like I haven’t seen you in years,” he said with a chuckle, sliding into the empty seat beside his friend. “You doin’ alright?”
“Really? I’m always drinking.” Teddy smirked turning his head to look at Marcus. Even now, the debt collector had a beer in his hand as he sat at the bar. He knew he’d been a little scarce though. He had work to do and he had a personal life that he wasn’t used to. But that wasn’t interesting to tell anyone. “ Me? Pretty damn good, considering how fucked thing’s have been. What about you? Where have you been hiding?”
Teddy was walking back to his car after collecting some money. It was easier said than done and judging by the bruise forming by his eye the guy had also been a dirty fighter. He managed to turn thing’s around and he knew for a fact they would not be trying to start anything with him or the Royals for a while. As he turned the corner he noticed a familiar face coming the opposite way. Of course it’d be a nurse walking by when he had just be knocked square in the face. “ Did you know internally someone hit me in the face or you just that good at your job?” Teddy smirked.

Teddy had not much in the way of family. The truth was he had none whatsoever, so when he joined the Royals it was like he walked into a group of people he actually believed he belonged around. Jenna was one of them and he appreciated her whenever they crossed paths. When he got out of his car he noticed the thief and smirked as he walked over. “ As I live and breathe. “ Teddy smirked seeing Jenna . “ How goes is it Jenna?”

mia-alcott:
Mia loved the mornings. It marked the start of a new beginning, and breakfast had always been one of her favorite parts of the day. As a kid, her friends always thought her a little strange for being so bright-eyed and ready to go during their school hours, but it never really bothered her. Things in Mia’s life had never gone quite how they were supposed to go. This particular morning, instead of filling her place up with the scent of coffee (another part of why she loved mornings), she decided to go to one of her favorite cafes in the city. As she walked into the place, coffee and freshly baked pastry scents swirled around her and brought an instant smile to her face. It was the familiar voice that caught her attention next, only causing her smile to deepen when her gaze landed on the male. “My, oh my. You’re actually out and about!” She teasingly replied, take the spot in line that was behind him. Even though he was wearing sunglasses, she still tried to look at his eyes, but of course, all she was met with was her reflection. “How have you been? Also,..” her gaze shifted from his sunglasses to the menu behind him, “..what are you planning on getting?”
Teddy gave Mia the biggest smirk he could muster in response to Mia’s comment. It was rare for him to be out this early and this functional. He usually had a drink in his hand whether alcohol or coffee he needed something to keep him mobile. ‘ I know. Alert the media. I live and breathe before 9. “ Teddy replied shaking his head. “ I’ve been pretty good aside from the general disappointment at how thing’s are. “ He nodded before glancing back. “ How bout you, Mia?” Despite the glasses on his face, Teddy raised a brow at her question. “ You better not be thinking of paying for me”

Patrick laughed. “Maybe,” he picked up a glass and put it on the bar, pouring Teddy his usual. He placed the full glass in front of him as he moved to put his hand down on the surface of the bar. “No kiddin’. You think we will ever catch a break?” He asked as he glided his tongue along his lower lip, nodding his head. “You plan on catching me up on the interesting personal developments or am I just gonna shoot in the dark?”
Teddy never really dealt with situations that were glass half full. He wasn’t used to assuming something positive would come out of life. It was why he had no idea when the gang was gonna catch a break. He was the worst person to ask really. “ Don’t know. Comes with the job. The bullshit ups and downs. “ He stated in a matter of fact way. Did he like the situation? No. But he wasn’t the type to lie either. “ Danielle James. “ He stated after the mention of an interesting development. “ Something’s happened there” He explained still unsure how to talk about anything like that other than she mattered to him.

Callum had done the work he needed to do and was just chillin’ on the couch when his phone rang. He smiled when he saw the name across the caller id. “Yes. I’m home and Yes I’m in. You want me to meet you somewhere?” He asked as he got up off the couch and checked his appearance in the mirror to make sure the curls were in the perfect tussled look.
Teddy smirked before his friend had even gotten the full sentence out. It was nice to have someone out there that was as open to going out and getting into trouble like him. “ Perfect” Teddy replied before shaking his head. “ Nah man, I’m outside. I was finishing a collecting, so I was in the area. “

“Why so surprised?” Ana chuckled lightly at his reaction, shifting in her seat to make herself comfortable and leaned over the table with her elbows. “You’re just you. But don’t tell Remy I said that, he will be heartbroken.” She teased, knowing very well that her best friend would exaggerate over her statement.
“Yeah, well I am starting to think we will never have one day without some shit happening.” Ana sighed, but did not take it tragically. In the end she got used to life being one big mess and did not expect it to change. At his question she scoffed and looked at him with raised eyebrow. “Me and trouble? Never.” She shook her head, the sarcasm obvious in her voice as she grinned. Her past few days were nothing but trouble. “But actually I laid low for some days. Had to-” she thought of a proper way how to say it, her eyes raising to the ceiling as she contemplated, “-regain some energy.” She said in the end, nodding to herself that it pretty much described well her days spent closed in her own apartment and day-drinking.
“How about you, what have you been up to?”
“Am I not allowed to be surprised?” Teddy countered back at his friend as he looked her over. He was always a bit of a tease even though his heart belonged elsewhere. It was just the only way he knew how to communicate, “Heartbroken huh? We can’t have that can we? Though the devil on my shoulder is curious what it would look like” Teddy smirked. He had no intention of ruffling the feathers of any of his own crew. He just liked to have fun.
“Lets not jinx ourselves yet. It’s our turn to do something to them. Lets hope we got something good coming up”Teddy added continuing to smirk. He was more than ready for some drama being directed the other way. “Yes you. What do you mean by that?” He asked looking over at Ana like he could try to see what was wrong by looking her way. he couldn’t though. “ What happened?”
“ Me? I’m not that fascinating beyond drinking and sex”
