dream trip: I have always dreamt of going to Chernobyl. I'm really interested in nuclear power catastrophes and abandoned places. My brother and I were kind of planning to go this or the next summer but that is not on the table for a foreseeable future. I also badly want to go to Italy.

Relationship status: happily married

Favorite color: green green green green. But also purple. Yellow has been very appealing lately.

Favorite food: it used to be fried chicken but I don't eat meat very often anymore. I guess pasta? I've been inhaling spaghetti with aubergine, cherry tomatoes, fresh basil and pecorino all summer. For sweets it's ice cream (all kinds but a good vanilla with caramel sauce, toasted almonds, and a sprinkle of sea salt is heaven sent). Cherries, blackberries, nectarines, peaches...almonds. Fresh bread and butter. Cheesy fries with pickled jalapeños. I'm hungry.

Dream trip: Snowdonia National Park, rural areas of Scotland and Ireland. I always wanted to see the Pacific Northwest, or Yosemite and Yellowstone. Somewhere green and wild and open and hopefully not too hot (I know that ship has sailed). I want to be able to see the stars at night again. My dream trip used to be Rome but I pulled that off, three times (it's still my favorite but I'm tired of cities).
