It’s adapted from a manga written and drawn by a woman named Q Hayashida!

Protagonists are a 7 foot tall man with a lizard head and his kickass restaurant owner pal.

Strong female characters both literally and figuratively. One of the main ladies is a walking wall of muscle.

Insane character designs ranging from extremely detailed to downright grotesque.

Largely lighthearted tone despite the dour setting.

A great story full of mystery, intrigue, twists and turns, with lovable characters with you the whole way!

WORD OF WARNING

If you do not like blood or gore, this isn’t the series for you, im afraid. There are tons of quiet moments in Dorohedoro, but when it gets violent it REALLY gets violent. Im not sure if the anime will tone it down or not, we’ll have to wait and see. Just be aware!!!!
