im getting tired of the fanservicey trend in character designs where you KNOW that a character was made to be a tumblr sexyman. the type of chracters you can tell are pumped out of a factory that are designed to hit as many of the boxes of a generic tumblr sexyman (goofy lanky, etc.) you can TELL as SOOn as there is a character that has the body of a skinny ass early 2000s yaoi manga mc and a random object for a head you KNOW they were made to appeal to a broad market while being juuuust out of the realm of conventionally attractive to raise eyebrows if you tried to talk to someone about them that isnt chronically online

think of tenna from deltarune. great character, funny guy, love toby fox and his work, but you KNOW he was made with the intent for dweebs in fandom spaces to go "omg little scrunkly meowmoew divorcee........ my little piss bab..y......." but at the end of the day hes a cookie cutter quirked up white boy with a crt tv slammed on his head.

tumblr sexymen used to be ORGANIC they used to be from UNRELATED MEDIA and now they're just being put in AAANY franchise that knows they have an audience of weirdos that will throw money at the wall to be the first to buy a plushie of the new funny sexuyman™! to douse in milk and throw at a wall so they can be the funniest person on their little interweb space for a short while

even now, i listen to its soothing tone next to me and feel the air is ushers forward with what power its withering motor can provide and i want to thank it a thousand more times than i have.

First day on the job at this haunted house I get there and they ask me if I can hose down English Willy.
